I would be honestly surprised to see the Dev's release a martial controller any time in the near future for several reasons:
1) Creating a class specifically to fit a specific power source/role combination is the very kind of "needless symetry" that the developer's claim to be avoiding.
This is especially true when you consider the fact that I distinctly recall the developers saying that class design begins with an idea/archetype (eg. Barbaric/Skilled Fighter or Woodsman, Tactictian/Commander, Scholarly Wizard, Holy Priest/Warrior, etc), rather than from a deliberate attempt to fill a specific X/Y combination on the PS/R table.
Is it any wonder why we have more Strikers than any other role when each of those archetypes lends themselves more naturally to that role than any other?
2) Unlike most other power sources, the principles upon which the Martial Power Source is based does not lend itself naturally to the Controller Role. It is for this simple reason that each and every example of "Martial Controller" I have seen to date feels shoe-horned, and is held together with so much duct tape.
In fact, I sincerely hope never to see a Martial Controller unless of course, such a class evolved naturally from a different role and/or power source over the course of its development (as I highly doubt that even the devlopers have enough imagination to think of a Martial Controller archetype, without it being as contrieved as the numerous examples on these forums).
In fact, should such a class ever come into existance, I fully expect that its development would share many similarities to that of the Sorcerer, in respect to how the Sorcerer made the slow (but eventual) transition from Controller to Striker over the course of its development.

Just decided that I didn't care enough to continue the argument. Well thanks for voicing your opinion while you did, bad things happen when good men do nothing.

...bad things happen when good men do nothing. That is probably the only reason why I continue to read and post in threads like this.
