This is insane. I bought 3.5 and watched my Sword and Fist, etc grow dusty. I will NOT buy this crap. There is nothing wrong with the basic game.
And the fact that every D&D Miniature will be obsolete is insane. Some of us have invested a lot of money into the damn game.
Wotc won't get another penny from me.

From what I've heard, 4e will stick to the "Player's Handbook", "Monster Manual" and "Dungeon Master's Guide". Release date is May 2008 for the 4e PHB, and a month later each for the MM and DMG. I can only imagine that players will have to wait one month before they have any opponents to fight, and another month before those opponents drop any magic items.

All I want is for Psionics to be core.
Then I will be happy. This.

All I want is for Psionics to be core. Core but in the DMG as an optional system (like in 1st Edition) would be cool.

Why do we need a Magic Psionic dichotomy? Or an Arcane Divine dichotomy? An augmentable system like the Force in Saga would be perfect. And you can call it whatever you want (not everybody calls the Force the Force in the SW Universe. One sect of Force Adepts (actually called the White Current Adepts) calls the Force the White Current).

Make them independent of any particular campaign (-world).
Will you be going over the wording in the Core books with a fine tooth comb? One can not fail to remember the missing line about PrC not counting against Multi-classing XP penalties in the 3.5 DMG. I would very much insist that editing blunders like that be stringently avoid. Also will Monster and NPC stat blocks be 100% correct. It has come up before that monster and NPC are either over or under skilled, missed qualified feats, and general something that a DM would shred and tell a player to do again.
Since these are the Core books every I should be doted and very T crossed if you get my meaning. This too. -
