Here's a question, and remember, I'm an old-school gaming geezer.
Where can you find an ivory tube flowing down the water current?

Cullen DeFilch was captured by Bugbears in B5 Horror on the Hill, or The Hobgoblin King in B1-9. He is in a prison cell near the northwest corner of dungeon level 1, which is in the area that the bugbears live.
Sound good? Yeah, I honestly didn't realize his situation was different in B1-9. Learn something new every day

Where can you find an ivory tube flowing down the water current? You can you find an ivory tube flowing down the water of a stream, after you knock it loose from the under water skeleton covered by mineral deposits, in "The First Dungeon Adventure" example given in the 1st edition AD&D DMG. Is that the ivory tube you are talking about?

So I guess I'm supposed to ask a question now. OK, this should be fairly easy, where can you find a sword that looks like a unlit torch until its touched?

Clue 1: The sword I'm thinking about is a Neutral Good giant slaying swordwith a 14 intelligence and an 8 ego. It speaks hill, stone, and frost giant, in addition to common and its alignment tounge.

You gave too much away with that clue. Hill Giant clan's stronghold, upper level, room 14 "Main Guest Chamber".
Module "Steading of the Hill Giant Chief", or "Against the Giants".

Thank you.
At the moment I'm not in the right state of mind to ask any questions. So would someone else like to take my turn?

Well, maybe I'll take my turn after all.
Question (2 Parts): Part 1 - If I was creating a Cavalier of upper middle class, what equipment and funds would my character automatically receive?
Part 2 - Which book could I find this information in?
