Hi folks, As stated in the 05/12 Design & Development article, the time has come once more for your nominations! The mechanical aspects of our You Craft the Creature have been largely determined, but what it needs now is formal, written concept. Similar to your Special Abilities, we’ve set up this message board thread for your 50-100 word concepts that best summarize and introduce the creature. By “concept,” we’re looking for the creature’s physical description, flavor, role in the game—a tall order, in under 100 words. Good luck! We’re looking forward to what you devise for Baker.

This creature is humanoid and stands fully twelve feat tall. It's jet black skin glistens with a faint oily sheen while it glares at you with glowing red eyes from beneath a brow crowned with dead nettles.
It's primary roll on the battlefield is as a commander of evil fey. It uses it's powers to summon and augment his allies while directing them to the most dangerous targets.

This creature is nine feet tall and vaguely humanoid. Its green flesh continuously moves on its bones. It has no head. A dozen multicolor eyes bud in different places of its body, and three maws of sadistic teeth are set on its chest. It has tentacles for arms, its legs have inverted knees and its feet have three toes.
As a mastermind, it sends its fey servent to combat. If engaged in melee, it focuses on melee combattant, taking advantage of its blasphamous geometry and ignore casters, taking advantage of its wild magic aura. It always attacks elves first.

Nearly ten feet tall, this creature seems to be glowing with dark energy. Its long, unnatural arms end in seven-fingered, red-clawed hands. It moves oddly, having backwards knees, but these knees enable it to run faster and jump higher. Its face is resembles that of an Elf, in that it has pointy ears and no facial hair. But its eyes glow a deep blue, radiating power.
In battle, this creature commands hordes of Fey to destroy its ancient Elven enemies. It prefers not to enter combat itself, but if it does, it uses its array of dark powers to great avail.

This creature, twice as tall as a man, seems vaguely humanoid at first glance, but its pale green features and limbs shift in impossible ways, and sometimes seem to disconnect from the body. Its skin vaguely resembles moss and fungi.
As a mastermind, this creature tends to remain just out of melee reach, instead letting its minions work for it. When it does take active roles, it is usually a disruptor of spellcasters, thanks to its wild magic aura.

A muscular humanoid with skin like brain matter hovers in place. It is four feet tall, though surrounding it is an amorphous, translucent "body" over 11 feet in height, the physical manifestation of its host's prowess. The smaller figure within appears alien, its outer body phasing in and out of shape as it adapts to attacks, taking on a form more suitable each time it encounters a threat.
In combat, it prefers to stay behind its hordes of Fey, using mental abilities to deal with troublesome spellcasters. It controls its various minions telepathically, adapting to developing hazards.

As if seen through a kalidescope, "baker" is a mismatch of fey, fractured and out of sync with the world. Oddly enough, it seems to be the only thing that makes sense within it's Aura.
It's battlefield purpose is Leader, directing it's servants with twisted logic and sheer presence. Sneak attacks, Illusion magic, and mind controll would be the theme of the conflict. True Seeing and high Will saves are a must for the PCs.

A large nightmarish spider-like creature scuttles into view before you. It's legs seeming to divide and converge as it walks. It's twisted body pulses and churns as if something within seeks to break free and be born.
Some say they are natures cruel idea of a joke, others disagree. There is not doubt that they are evil to the core. Sending out small raiding parties of fey to attack villages, they hope that a group of adventures will follow them back to their lair in order to trap and eat.

The being before you stands 9 foot tall. No 7 foot, no now 10. Somehow whenever you concentrate on it all else fades into the black orbs you presume to be its eyes. You can tell that it is vaguely humanoid, but detail is drunk into those eyes, and shadows appear before you without there seeming to be any light...

Standing there is an 11 foot tall mass of greenish tentacles around a reddish center. Two larger tentacles touch the ground, serving as legs, while two more protrude like arms, making it look vaguely humanoid. The space around it seems to mutate, as if the creature twists reality.
Nobody knows where “Bakers” came from. "Bakers" rarely appear on the battlefield, mostly using its fey minions. They prefer to work behind the scenes. If it must fight, “Bakers" usually cast illusion and mind-affecting spells, though it sometimes uses polymorph, forcing its opponents into the form of minor aberrations with sadistic glee.
