My internet job is done!!!!

I shall be putting something up soon, I just have to find some dictionaries. I decided that while making a world to do it better all the names had to come from the same language. So I'm going to find an english to something net dictionary and work some stuff up.

Excellent post! Very well done dinosaur art and stats and good choice of animals. I liked the bit about training it as a mount.
I had for my Maztica campaign a sentient ornthipod race called the ordros, a sentient raptor race, and low intelligent (not civilized) blink raptors.

Need some language suggestions. I was gonna use gaelic, but the word for horned is something like 4 to 6 syllables long. Kinda wanted soemthing easier.

Celtic is pretty cool, but you might run into the same problem with some worlds. Other suggestions: any oriental language, Italian, German, or Egyptian.

I think bhu was going to go with Gaelic because hardly anyone knows it or has even heard it spoken. I can't really think of any other uncommon languages, unless you want to go with something like Norse or Icelandic, but not many people are going to be able to pronounce anything in those languages (I've heard that even natives of Iceland have trouble learning the language).

Cave hyenas are vicious, feral, oversized versions of hyenas, about 4 feet long and weighing about 180 pounds.
Combat
A favorite tactic is to send a few individuals against the foe’s front while the rest of the pack circles and attacks from the flanks or rear.
Trip (Ex): A cave hyena that hits with its bite attack can attempt to trip the opponent (+2 check modifier) as a free action without making a touch attack or provoking an attack of opportunity. If the attempt fails, the opponent cannot react to trip the cave hyena.
Skills: *Cave hyenas have a +4 racial bonus on Hide checks in areas of tall grass or heavy undergrowth.

As the Cave Hyena likes to flank its prey, maybe Mobility as a bonus feat is in order? Just a random thought. It wouldn't up their CR any, all in all.

I was aiming for gaelic because most of the names given to places, races, etc will be druidic. I was also going to spell them out phonetically to make pronunciation easier. I just hadnt counted on the word for something has simple as 'horned' being spelled something like allhaiemneachier.

Yeah, but at least it's relatively easy to pronounce. All-hyme-knee-cheer (possibly all-high-em-knee-cheer). And yes, that should be spoken with a Christopher Lambert accent :D
