I hate making things that have already been done. Chances are, they're ten times better than mine. Maybe, maybe not. I've not seen the one's outside the MM, MM2, and Ebberon, but much of the offical WotC dinos aren't that good. (A lot of them aren't even real, they're just made up.) I wasalways saddened by the small number in the MM/SRD. (I grew up during the '80s, when dinosaurs where an in thing.)
I think you should strive to stat any dinosaur you take a fancy to. That way, us dinosaur nuts that haven't the time to make them ourselves will have a nice selection of OGL dinosaurs to use. What I want to see is the "compys". (Sorry, I can't recall thier full name, they show up in Jurrasic Park. At least in the book, I don't think they made the cut in the movie.)
If you have access to Acrobat, you should consider making this into a Net Book of Dinosaurs. Of course, that'd require getting rights to the images, or new artwork, but It'd be awesome.

Procompsognathus and Compsognathus :3. They did make it into the second and third jp film, however i really doubt they were as aggressive, i mean c`mon it dosn`t make sense that they would run away from larger predators yet go rabbid when they see a human.
Thanks to Tribble im learning how to make my own creatures, when i get them finished i`ll post them, id like to hear how i did from people who have been doing this longer then i have.

So do they have stats in the thread? I just skimmed the whole thing, but I might have missed them, there a lot of critters in here. I think my next mage will have a compy familer, if they aren't too powerful. That'd be great. Either that or a Monsterous Trilobite. Can you have Vermin as a familer? I don't think you can, but I don't see why you couldn't (other than silly game rules). On the other tentacle, Trilobites are aquatic, so pehaps it wouldn't work.
I was really glad to see the Trilobites, they've got to be my favorite creature, and most people have never hear of them. If I mention them to anyone, the reply always seems to be "A Trilo-what?". I want to get a nice Trilobite fossil as a display piece, but can't afford it. The nice large ones are very expensive.
I've been thinking of doing stats for Monsterous Dragonflys, which I recall reading something about existing in prehistoric times. Of course, the largest is only like two feet long or something like that, but I'd do the whole range because that's the way vermin are done in DnD. Besides, it gives the DM a wide variety of things to use them for (familiers, pets, mounts, giant baddies, etc.).
On a related note, has anyone considered doing Dinosaurs the same way? For instance, rather than stat out every variety of Raptor, just make a chat that has Raptors from Tiny (or even smaller) to Colossal and make a list of what real life species are which size. It could save a lot of work and make for a very complete set of stats at the same time.

Rend? I wouldn`t know really x.x; my friend also said it might be rend, so perhaps it is? the best way i can describe what im talking about is the scene in jurassic park when the tyrannosaurus is hunting the galliemimus. It manages to pin one down before grabbing it in its jaws and then shaking it around like a rag doll.

What a fantastic menagerie!! You, Raptorial and the other submitters should be commended. You both have definitely inspired within me a dinosaur-themed campaign.

That would be the Snatch Feat Ive looked over the snatch feat, the problem is the only actions it has is the improved grip and the flinging motion, what im wanting is to shake back and forth x.x so i dunno..
