Nope. I won't make anyone else guess though as the silence of this thread suggests nothing's coming if I don't :P I was thinking Amelia Earhart and Nikola Tesla.

Oops. I wish they'd have said what it was...I just saw a link an ignored it.
You're right though.
I'll post a review somewhere once I get the books...I don't know if they are good, but it was news to me that they exist.

BUMP !
... man, I need to come up with a new vestige soon. And here it is:

Aeon, the Guardian of Time Vestige Level: 4 Binding DC: 20
Legend: Aeon is a guardian that travels through time and space to keep them safe from any disturbance. His last mission was to mend a time rift that appeared in an alternate Material Plane. The rift creator sealed itself behind a door and Aeon needed 13 soul keys to unlock and defeat the creator. However, Aeon himself could not obtain these keys, but fortunately, the rift had trapped a group of vampires and vampire hunters from many eras, enough to help him retrieve the keys. Using multiples time streams, he sent each person on a series of trials in exchange of an answer they were looking for as well as their freedom and time restoration, as only he could sent them back.
As each person completed their trials, Aeon gathered the soul keys, and challenged them all to combat, as only one person could go against the creator of this time rift. Strangely enough, the time streams he used split up into two for a few moments: one when Aeon was defeated, and one when he was victorious. One by one, the group battled fiercely the now-known Time Reaper and sent it back to the 10,000 years in the future where he belonged. Finally, each member returned to their respective eras and their time period was restored without any damage to the future.
On the time stream that Aeon defeated each member, Aeon was obliged to battle the Time Reaper himself. The battle raged on and once again the time stream split into three: one when Aeon defeated the Time Reaper and restored the flow of time, one when the Time Reaper killed Aeon and could destroy the world, and one last when Aeon and the Time Reaper clashed one last attack and both vanished into thin air, mending the time rift and sending everyone back home.
Aeon was able to live and continue his duty by following the time stream when he defeated the Time Reaper, but while the one when he lost could not be brought to life and passed to the next world, the one when he winked out of the time stream became a vestige, wandering the multiverse helplessly. He does, however, keep an watchful eye on his living self, even if Aeon himself has no idea that one of his time duplicate has become a spectral entity.
Special Requirements: You must place an hourglass in the center of the seal, as well as 13 other hourglasses around it near the inner edge of the seal.
Manifestation: The hourglass in the center shatters and its content (sand or liquid) shapes itself into clock hands, a small and a large one, before slowing spinning in opposing directions. As each hand passes near an hourglass on the edge, the hourglass shatters as well and its content shapes itself into Roman numbers from 1 to 13. When all hourglasses are broken, the clock hands point at you and all the glass shards from the hourglasses are sent upward and stop in midair in suspension. Some of the shards explode, and slowly the image of a young, yet white-haired man appears in the center. Aeon wears an elegant white suit, white boots, black leather gloves and a monocle. He carries a watch as large as a shield in his right hand and takes out a pocket watch from his pocket with his left hand. “Right on time!” he says, and then hears out what are the binder’s intentions. He remains polite and diplomatic during the pact.
Sign: You have a pocket watch on the back of your primary hand. The watch also appears on top of gloves, gauntlets, bracers and even manacles. The watch has 13 numbers, but it acts as a portable waterclock linked to the plane in which you bound Aeon. For instance, it displays the normal Material Plane time, it stops if the pact was made in the Astral Plane or in timeless planes and it follows the slow or rapid time depending on the other planes’ time cycle.
Influence: You become very polite and diplomatic, yet this does not affect Charisma-based checks. You also disdain and attempt to warn or stop anyone who manipulates the flow of time. This includes chronomancers, diviners and other spellcasters who use divination spells to predict the future events. You also look down immortal creatures such as fey, undead, construct, elementals and outsiders, as their presence disturb the time flow.
Granted Powers: A pact with Aeon grants you numerous abilities related to time. Except for Time Knowledge, you must show Aeon’s sign for all abilities to work. Clock Hand Blades: As a move-action, or free action if you possess Quick Draw, you can pull the watch on your hand and have one or both clock hands grow into sharp long blades. The watch becomes a longsword or a two-bladed sword at your discretion. You are proficient with both weapons, yet you must have the right feats to make multiples attacks with a two-bladed sword as a double weapon. The clock hands have an enhancement bonus of +1 at 7th level or lower. This bonus increases to +2 at 10th, +3 at 13th, +4 at 16th and +5 at 19th.
Time Manipulation: You can use haste or slow once every 5 rounds (caster level equals to your effective binder level). You must wait until the current effect’s duration elapses until you can cast the other.
Clock Charges: The watch itself has 13 charges, which can be used for the following granted powers. The numbers fade from black to white when charges are used.
- Time Beam: You can shoot a 120-ft long beam that deals 1d6 points of pure damage per 2 effective binder levels to living creatures and objects alike. A successful Reflex save halves the damage, and this ability costs 1 charge.
- Clock Ringing: You extend the clock hands of the watch and they spin rapidly, slashing everyone in a 20-ft radius for 1d6 points of slashing damage per effective binder level. A successful Reflex save halves the damage, and this ability costs 2 charges.
- Time Stop: Once per day, you stop time as per the time stop spell (caster level equals to your effective binder level). However, you can only stop time for 1 round per 5 effective binder levels. This ability costs 6 charges.
Time Knowledge: You gain a bonus equal to your binder level to any skill check related to time, such as Survival and Knowledge checks. Okay, so this one's from Castlevania Judgment, an in-between game, and he looks like a Death Note character, but who cares about that anyway... So what do you think ? Feel free to post your feedback ! EDIT: corrected a few things

I'm curious why they ALL need the sign showing, just seems an oddity to me.
Haste and Slow are both 3rd level spells if I'm remembering correctly. I'm thinking this is a bit much for a 4th level Vestige... might want to either bump him up to 5th level or put these on the 5-round recharge.
Time Beam - what's the damage type?
Time Stop - Not sure how to adjudicate this one. A 9th-level spell on a 4th/5th level Vestige? Even limited by "per hour" and with charges, it seems a bit much.

Time Beam - what's the damage type? Huh... I was thinking of no type in particular, unless you've heard of "chronal energy" somewhere. Suggestions are welcomed.

How about both ? These both work well.
Huh... I was thinking of no type in particular, unless you've heard of "chronal energy" somewhere. Suggestions are welcomed. Untyped or Force would be best. Question is if you want those rare few with Force Resistance (Argent Savants) to be able to resist the damage, which is fairly negligible as rare as they are, or not.
How about "once per day" plus 3 charges ? I dunno, I'm still iffy... on the Time Stop thing I'm just going to hang back until Journeyman comments, see what he thinks.
Otherwise, sweet deal, and nice inspiration to boot. Thumbs up.

Thanks, and I'll be waiting for Journeyman's advice on this one.
