The matches are here!

notes: If any dm is insane enough to allow this class in their campaign, at least limit it to once in a life time encountered npc boss equivalent battle (even then you might want to make it never), please. I pray that you don't do even that. Same with the prestige classes I may/may not make (if I do, there should be some moans). My creating of this is probably a way of celebrating getting out of school for Christmas Break. Yay!

Class Features

Weapon and Armor Proficiencies: The Apocalypse Soldier is proficient with all simple and martial weapons. As well as light, medium, and heavy armors. Along with shields.

Apocalyptic Boost: At first level, an Apocalypse Soldier gains a +5 bonus onto all of his stats. This happens again at 5th level, and every 5 levels there after.

Bonus Feat: Every level, you gain a bonus feat of your choosing. It can be any feat, and you do not have to meet the prerequisites for it.

Apocalyptic Strike: An Apocalypse Soldier gains all of his stats (Str, Dex, Con, Int, Wis, Cha) onto all attacks and damage he deals.

Chaos (ex): A tangible field of force accompanies the Apocalypse Soldier's Attacks. At 2nd level, the reach of all his attacks increases by 5. Any creature struck by this attack does not receive the effects of it's damage reduction. Creatures within the normal range of the attack still keep their damage reduction against the Apocalypse Soldier's attacks.

Apocalyptic Armor: At third level, all stats (Str, Dex, Con, Int, Wis, Cha) are applied to AC against all attacks (no matter the circumstances).

Apocalyptic Steed: As the Paladins Mount, except it's gained at 4th level, and it must have something to do with the apocalypse (dm's discretion. I personally think the red dragon is a good one).

Apocalyptic Hold: At fifth level, he gains all stats (Str, Dex, Con, Int, Wis, Cha) onto his grapple checks instead of just strength.

Apocalyptic Save: At sixth level, you gain all stats (Str, Dex, Con, Int, Wis, Cha) onto all three of your saves (Fortitude, Reflex, and Fortitude).

Apocalyptic Smite (ex): At 7th level, an Apocalypse Soldier can make a smite attack a number of times per day equal to half his class level. This adds a number equal to his HD X 10 onto his damage

Apocalyptic Immunities: At 8th level, the Apocalypse soldier gains immunity to Death effects, Ability Damage/Drain, and Energy Drain. Also, they gain immunity to one energy type (such as acid, cold, electricity, fire, and sonic). They can choose another one at 11th, 14th, 17th, and 20th.

Apocalyptic Health: By 9th level, an Apocalypse Soldier gains all stats (Str, Dex, Con, Int, Wis, Cha) onto his health per hit die instead of just his constitution.

Apocalyptic Critical: As soon as 10th level, everything will dread his best strikes. His critical threat range for whatever weapon he is using is multiplied by 6, and his critical multiplier for whatever weapon he is using increases by 2. This ability works on all weapons, even unarmed strikes. It does not stack with the Improved Critical Feat or the Keen ability.

Frightful Presence (ex): Any creature who comes within a 10 ft circle per class level of the Apocalypse Soldier when he makes any sort of frightening maneuver (shouting, attacking, etc...) must make a will save of (DC= HD+ all Stat modifiers) or become shaken.

Deathly Critical: Any creature who is criticaled by an Apocalypse Soldier must make a fortitude save (DC= modifiers of all stats + 1/2 of damage dealt by critical) or die.

Doomsday (ex): Once per day, the Apocalypse Soldier can trigger the apocalypse. When activated, everything within a 100 ft radius per class level (without epic levels, it'll just stay at 2000 ft radius) must make a fortitude, reflex, and will save each with a DC of (all Stat modifiers). One failed save results in the target being reduced to 0 hp and instantly falling unconscious. Two failed saves result in death (immunity to death effects does not protect you here). Failing all three save means you are wiped from existence, you cannot be raised by any means unless it is by a greater deity.

Now I just have to wait. I'm kind of curious what kind of responses I'll get.

Surprisingly, this thing isn't actually as broken as you made it out to be. It has plenty of health and good stats but without any weapon and armor proficiencies, you are just going to be punching people out. Come to think of it, anyone stupid enough to actually play as this will just find themselves as a giant punching bag that launches a few unarmed strikes each round. Sure, there is a decent chance of you resisting most effects thanks to monklike AC and saving throws but one of the biggest differences between this and the monk is that the monk has no dead levels and this thing has dead level city. I mean, some players frontload their characters with junk like this all of the time but it always comes back to bite them in the butt. For crying out loud, this class doesn't even get skill points. Sure, you be somewhat proficient in combat, but all too often, players will just take a level or two and then multiclass into something else, kind of like with a fighter. As everyone knows, when a class is directly comparable to a fighter, it is actually underpow...

SOOO OVERPOWERED!!!! MY EYES BLEEEEEEED!!

:D :D :D

There is one thing in here that tickles me pink.

There, now then, more waiting.

Edit: oh and I can add more abilities on for the dead levels, and probably will (how much worse could it get?)

Sorry, I forgot to look at your full comment. LOL!! That's a good one.

Edit: You'll can make any comments you'll want, I don't mind. I made this for everyone's enjoyment. There will be more abilities added, and PrC's to be made.

Actually its biggest flaw is that it can still die to auto-fail save rolls versus insta-death spells. Give him a feature that negates auto-fail save on natural 1's. Also, give him the Paragon template:
http://www.d20srd.org/srd/epic/monsters … eature.htm

Then you should increase the die sizes of his attacks (i.e. make all of his attacks be at the Colossal weapon size) and give him x100 crits(maybe bigger). He should always act in the surprise round and always win initiative, have a greater teleport at will as a swift action and have every sensory enhancement (truesight, blindsight, etc, etc) as a permanent Su ability. I'm sure I've missed some things.....

Oh yeah!!!! Access to all spell lists spontaneously with infinite spells known to be cast infinite times per day affected by any and all metamagic feats he so desires without an increase in casting time or spell level. Then give him a Divine Rank equal to his class level.

As he is right now, he's really only an A-Bomb soldier, this will turn him into the Apocalypse he has always dreamed about as a young lad.
