Okay, here's the deal.

I'm in the middle of uploading a 16 meg PDF of DS3. I'll post when it's available.

This is not the final version of DS3. The final version will come after we've audited everything for 3.5 compliance and gotten the intro chapter and credits in place.

However, at this point, the rules should be pretty static. Don't expect any major changes.

So, there are three types of feeback I'm looking for:

  • everybody-in-my-english-class-hates-me Feedback
  • 3.5 Feedback
  • Playtesting feedback

Everybody-in-my-english-class-hates-me Feedback
Feedback on the document itself. Word spacings, random capital letters, grammer corrections and the like. I'm starting up a thread for this, where the first post will explain what format I want that in.

3.5 Feedback
Things will go a lot faster on checking 3.5 compliance if we get some of the checking done in a distrubuted way. Let us know if you catch references to things that no longer exist in 3.5, or notice other incompatabilities.

Playtesting Feedback
This is the meat and potatoes of what we need.

Obviously, this can't exist as a single thread ... there's probably too much, and that'd get way too confusing. However, let's try and keep it somewhat condenced. If you've got a playtesting comment, do the following:

  • All threads giving playtesting feedback should be titled as "Playtesting: section" (For example, A thread on how overpowered the half giant is would read "Playtesting: Half-Giant" ... a thread on spell feedback should read "Playtesting: Spells"
  • If you're posting something new, please search first. Keep all half-giant feedback to one thread, keep all Templar feedback to another. It takes a few seconds of effort on your part, but it'll save us an extrodinary amount of effort when we go to review things later.
  • Sections: Each chapter should get it's own thread, with the exception of Races and Classes. For those two, each Race or Class should get it's own thread.

Simple rules, but please follow them. It'll keep the feedback manageable, and might even help a few of us over here retain sanity (What little we have)

And, the upload has finished. You can find it at http://athas.org/releases/ds3/
Remember, this isn't quite final!

Cerulean hail lists it as being a fury of storms 5 spell. The domain lists however show it as a cold malice 6 spell.

General note, would there not be at least one domain that offers the fly spell to air clerics?

This thread is not a feedback thread in itself - it contains information on how to provide feedback in other threads.

Failure to comply will be sanctioned with lightning bolts.

You might have to dig a little, but they're there. And if you can't find an appropriate one, just start a new one.

pick pocket does no longer exist, it is now called 'slight of hand'.

oops, and the bards conceal (i think thats what its called) ability would just add its bonus to slight of hand, because this ability replaces general dexterity checks.

Again - This thread is not a feedback thread in itself - it contains information on how to provide feedback in other threads.
