Will this be the standard in 4th edition? It seems really strange that if you take multiple PrCs that get a good fort save you get the +2 bonus right away each time, over and over... They should simply state that if a class you take follows the same table as another class, you continue advancing down the old one...
As it stands now, you can go into 3 classes with a 3/4s bab and come out at 20th level without a 3/4s bab.

Too soon to say really. Fractional saves were always "clunky" so I doubt they'll get in. Multi-classing is apparently getting a major overhaul, but what this means is anyone's guess. Splitting levels between classes the 3.5 way might not even be the standard, or saves could be integrated into the skill system.

I fully expect them to go the SWSE route and everyone gets highest Fort, Ref, and Will with small initial bonuses depending on the class.
