Unknownman]So wait, if it is always infinitly far away...
Does that mean that the Stone Master ability won't work when an enemy is adjacent to a Wall Elemental in Wall form?

No. The Elemental Wall creature is infinitely far away. The wall terrain that fill its space are not infinitely fa wrote:

How did this get so complicated? When it becomes a wall, IT'S A WALL. No, it can't move. Yes you can use it for Stone Lord. No, other allies can't pass through it on their turns (unless they have Incorporeal).

Get it? IT'S A WALL.

See that's the way I thought about it too.
But its the actual definition that makes it sound so complicated.

Like Guy wrote in his post,

No. The Elemental Wall creature is infinitely far away. The wall terrain that fill its space are not infinitely far away.

So, it doesnt actually turn into a wall, it moves infinitely far away, and a wall terain takes its place on the map.

I don't know why the definition is so weird.
To me it should be: Creature becomes a wall and is not considered a creature until its next turn.

or something simple...This infinite distance is just weird. I'm not making it up. Guy is not making it up. Its the actual Definition from Wardrums he read off to us.

Just....odd. :co wrote:

As I understand it at least, pretty much treat the creature as being surrounded by walls (just the walls that occupy edge lines rather than the full square). Therefore it can't trace line of sight or effect to anything since it's completely surrounded by walls, and so it can't be targeted or affected by any spells. It can't make AoOs, because everything is behind a wall. Conversely, enemies can't do anything to it either. Since nothing can then affect it inside it's little cocoon, it really doesn't matter if it gets treated as a wall or creature at that point.

I think the infinite distance was just Guy's way of explaining that this crature isn't ever going to be the closest creature to target, and will always be out of any area effects (since it's infinitely far from those too).

That should not be relevant, because walls block LoS and thus area effects. No need to be infinetely far away if you are behind wrote:

Gamester]Another question: There does not seem to be anything that would prevent this creature from moving AFTER is uses it's Wall Transformation ability. Could I get confirmation on this? If so, it would seem that it could still move through its own creatures as per normal, but I can't quite seem to bend my mind around that. Can you clarify?

Thanks.

Any comments on this Guy?

Did you miss it, or are you consulting higher powers wrote:

There is no reason to clarify this. Once it uses the ability it basicly is no longer on the battle map wrote:

There is no reason to clarify this. Once it uses the ability it basicly is no longer on the battle map to act.

It's a wall. Terrain doesn't move.
