Why is 5 the maximum? Is there a before the end of your next turn in there?
Yep.
You can always have that noble grant you an extra action each turn, to get that up to 7 Battle Strikes...
If you have that Noble. If he has that talent. I don't include those very situational modifiers.

What if he has that talent? Otherwise you kill him and get a new Noble of course!
Jokes aside, that was just my way of showing that it is not the absolute maximum, even if it is a practical maximum. Unless you have other resourses to help you.

MY question is: IF I can activate Battle Strike 2X, and then use Force Slam as my standard action, can I use 3 force points in this round
1 for Battle Strike to add 2D6, 1 for battle strike to add 2D6 and 1 for Force slam to add 2D6 (I also have strong in the force so the D6 are now D8's)?

No. You can only spend one Force Point a round (Core Book, pg. 93). And in my interptation of Strong in the Force, the d8 wouldn't apply to the damage from force powers. Strong in the Force states that "When you spend a force point to change the results of an attack roll, skill check, or ability check, you roll d8 instead of d6." It doesn't mention anything about the damage from force powers in there, so I wouldn't think that they would apply.

1. Generally speaking NO. You normally can not spend more the one FP in a round. I'll also add that Force Slam (at least pre-errata) would not benefit from Battle Strike as it doesn't use an "attack roll" but rather is a skill check vs. a defense score.
2. As mentioned Strong in the Force just alters the die rolled when you spend a FP to adjust an attack roll, skill check, or ability check. I short it only alters the dice you roll that anyone could roll. Now SitF is a pretty weak feat but note that there Force Sensitivity isn't even required to use it so you could just rename it "Extreme Luck" with FP really being seen as "Luck Points." I also believe that allowing them to turn the d6s you roll for damage on many force powers into d8s would make it too powerful.
