Hi everyone, and welcome back to You Build the Character. We stay with video game characters this month, as the challenge is to build Kyle Katarn, Star Wars's answer to Chuck Norris. You have until 11.59pm (PT) on Thursday 23 December to post your RPG stats, and any notes you want to post explaining your decisions. Once submissions have closed, all forum members will have until 11.59pm (PT) on Thursday 30 December to vote for their favourite. Whichever build receives the most votes will win.
The prize for winning is having your stats enshrined in the YBtC Hall of Fame, as well as the bragging rights.
The following rules apply to all submissions:
All builds must be created according to RAW, with no house rules (no single Athletics skill, no bonus feats for bloodlines etc).
You may use "unlimited" point buy for Kyle's ability scores, provided each score is between 3 and 18 at first level (before racial and age adjustments).
You are free to use material from all official Saga Edition books, up to and including The Unknown Regions.
Your stats may represent Kyle Katarn at any point during his life, or serve as an overall interpretation of the character as a whole. You may even include multiple stats to represent multiple points in time, provided they are all different level versions of the same build (ie no swapping out talents or feats).
Kyle Katarn is a Human, and as such uses the Human species traits provided on page 23 of the core rulebook.
You may change your stats at any point up until submissions close, at which point any edited stats will be disqualified.

I imagine that Majestic Moose plays a more "A team" type game than most of us. By that I mean he allows his players to make tanks out of a backyard playground set since the players have more "fun" that way.
When I and my friends sit down we want a game of heroic fantasy. Rare is the moment when I have cried out in a video game or RPG "that's unrealistic." (Unless there is no jump button. Seriously makes me mad, single handedly ruined the N64 zelda series for me, but that's a digression of a digression.)
I mean, we play games with the force in galaxies far, far away, with supernatural horrors, dragons and demi-gods, alternate cosmologies, etc.
Reality and it's effects hold little sway to what makes a Heroic fantasy game fun IMO.

I decided to envision Kyle Katarn as Mace Windu to Luke's Yoda or Vader to the Emperor. This is Katarn at the height of his power. He's completed nearly countless missions for the Empire, the Rebellion, the New Republic, and the Galactic Alliance. He's faced and triumphed over some of the deadliest foes the galaxy had to offer including the Dark Troopers, Boba Fett, the Vong Threat, the Reborn Empire Crises, many Dark Jedi Masters Sariss, Jerec, Desann, Ceadus and more.
Katarn is an implacable foe, willing and able to smash through hundreds of heavily armed hostiles single handedly to reach his objective. He might not be the fastest or the strongest or the best with the force but decades of violent experiance have honed him into a fearsome killing machine.

I'm fairly certain I got some rule wrong somewhere, I just cleaned up an old version I made for a game a long time ago, in a galaxy near us.
Guess it never published the whole build the first time. Good thing I caught that before submissions closed!
Edit: I keep having an issue where my build for the rest of Kyle circa Conclave on Zonama Sekot and of the Legacy of the Force era are cut off in my post. I will repost them here tomorrow, I hope that's not an issue with my stats being in two places.
