I just won the three Epic Collections sets. Here's offerings from the Heir to the Empire pack, next to a couple like-scale vessels:

Aw man, I used to have those, and all the others! Sold 'em, like a putz. They look great on the SB bases!

Shriwirr & Flurry will work well too, I think, but A) I know I have loose ones somewhere, so I don't wanna rip open the box, and B) I'll need to scam two capitol-ship bases from cleap, useless figures (the Assault Frigate or whatever it is comes immediately to mind)

THe Flurry and the Shriwirr both work on SSB bases, so the Shriwirr model is small for a capital ship. I also have the Lady Luck and a number of Skiprays. In addition, The freighter/bounty hunter ships work well too. Hound's Tooth, IG-2000, Stinger, etc.
As to the Assault Frigate, modify the stats slightly to actually make it worth while. For my own rule set/stat cards, I created new stats for it and it's fast, manueverable, and has decent weapons, but still isn't a true toe to toe slugger in combat.
Other ideas: The titanium series CIS shuttle is a bit big, but can be mounted on SSB bases for another CIS ship. Micro Machine Corellian Corvettes work, though smaller than the Tantive IV, and the Sentinel Lander works as well, but it is slightly too big.
My unofficial SSB Website4-14-10 Uploaded the Base Pack of stat cards for Desperate Encounters. These cards are for the 60 stock SSB Models, making them compatible with DE. Coming Soon: DE: Reputations. Reputations in battle are earned, not given... An expansion pack containing stat cards for unique fighter squadrons, unique versions of stock SSB ships, and generic versions of unique SSB ships.

Nice, Imperator! I wanna get me some now. My new player has some (as I've mentioned previously), so that's good enough for now, though.

Here's a couple more shots, adding the Micro Machines minis for Flurry and Shriwirr to SSB bases. Flurry, at 350 meters, worked great! The small Shriwirr model is rather unconvincing for a 900-meter vessel, but happily all the Ssi-ruuvi vessels look pretty much the same so I hereby designate it a Ssi-ruuvi Light Cruiser (400 meters. Better). Micro Machines ships have no weathering so they look rather bland compared to SSB models. I fixed this with the "Light Cruiser" by just using a heavy black wash and quickly wiping it off. Flurry took two different shades of gray paneling hand-brushed on and, when that dried, the same quick wash.

Man, I just can't get a good pic of this. Of course, it IS nighttime, and a black background. Found my other Skipray. Now, this'll make the most seasoned adventured soil his spacesuit! Han Solo: "Goldenrod, bring me my brown pants!" C-3P0: "Dear oh dear, I'd forgotten how much I hate space travel." Skipray #2 and several other ships - IG-2000, Hound's Tooth and Stinger, were all on "old standard" black hex bases and had to be surgically removed. Unhappily, they were well-attached and every single one lost the mounting post in the body of the ship. SO, it took a little X-Acto prepping and then a three-stage drilling to clean out the holes. I mounted the Skipray first with the spare base I had, but had to order two throw-away Lambdas and a pitchable Rebel Transport (for the Conqueror-class) for the others. I'm THINKING about cutting & realigning the pivoting wing on the high-mounted Skipray, but this will involve drilling, pinning & gluing so I'll wait for a bit.
