Hi everyone, and welcome back to You Build the Character. This month's challenge is to build the baddest bounty hunter in the galaxy, Boba Fett. You have until midnight (PT) on Friday 19 February to post your RPG stats, and any notes you want to post explaining your decisions. Once submissions have closed, all forum members will have until midnight (PT) on Friday 26 February to vote for their favourite. Whichever build receives the most votes will win.
The prize for winning is having your stats enshrined in the YBtC Hall of Fame, as well as the bragging rights.
The following rules apply to all submissions:
All builds must be created according to RAW, with no house rules (no single Athletics skill, no bonus feats for bloodlines etc).
You may use "unlimited" point buy for Boba's ability scores, provided each score is between 3 and 18 at first level (before racial and age adjustments).
You are free to use material from all official Saga Edition books, up to and including Galaxy of Intrigue.
Your stats may represent Boba Fett at any point during his life, or serve as an overall interpretation of the character as a whole. You may even include multiple stats to represent multiple points in time, provided they are all different level versions of the same build (ie no swapping out talents or feats).
Boba Fett is a Human, and as such uses the Human species traits provided on page 23 of the core rulebook.
You may change your stats at any point up until submissions close, at which point any edited stats will be disqualified.
Have fun everyone, and may the Force be with you.

I thought he never bothered to learn mando'a, a point some of his fellow mandalorians commented about (how he'd get irritated when they'd sprinkle their language with it, since he didn't really understand it).
If he learned it at all it was towards the end of the Legacy of the Force books.
It's morphin time! ...Oh wait, wrong universe. Now where did I put my lightsabre? Winner of "You Build the Character 16 - Wedge Antilles" and "You Make the ... Contest 3 - Elite Forces"
What language, then, was Jango speaking to him in Ep 2 when he told him to hide the armor? Huttese? I would think Obi-Wan would be able to understand that.

The screenplay says it's Huttese. Don't remember Obi-Wan ever being shown to understand Huttese, so there's no conflict there.

Okay, this might not be a popular choice, but... I decided to stat Boba Fett based on what we see in the movies, which isn't actually all that impressive. Yes, he's notorious. But he ends up getting punked pretty easily. The movie version definitely doesn't make him out to be some superhuman badass. So I don't think he was anywhere near his father's level. Maybe he could have been, but Jango never lived long enough to complete his training. Anyway, I had to give him Int 14 so he would have had Int 12 as a child and understood the aforementioned Huttese. Couldn't think of any other language to give him as an adult, so went with the CR write-up and Mando'a. In keeping with my Han Solo write-up, I went with point-buy 25 for his ability scores (yes, Virginia, you really can do iconic characters with PB 25 ) and in Boba's case, everything comes from the SECR.
