Not to be picky, but I originally made the mod and scruffynerfherder got instructions from me on how to do it. Has he posted it somewhere? Where did you hear he had made one?
Hey man do not take this too offense but I modded that fig last year and have never ever ever got instructions from any body how to md, I do all my modding by myself and from my own Brain and figure it out all on my own. so yeah, and I have never posted any pics on these boards. you have me confused with someone else.

sithewok25--I think I will enter the Yoda into the Golden Wookie contest. I wanted to enter the first one but I got the camera the day after the deadline for entries.
Looogy--It was intimidating when I first thought about cutting apart the Yoda fig but I have alot of experience making mods and I did alot of drawings of my idea before I started and studied the sculpt of the fig to figure out the best way cutting it apart.
Scruffy--PM me about getting together to get you stuff up on the boards. And guy lighten up, I don't think SaberCreator knew you had made a Mara mod already. I understand that every artist is protective of their stuff.
SaberCreator--Sometimes I use sabers from other figs if the mod is something special like the Obi on BARC will be, but for others like the Mara fig and the four other "Hand Assassins" like her I just used an acrylic rod. You can find them at model train stores.
I saw scruffynerfherder's Mara about a three or four months ago. We live in the same city and we get to see each other about once a week or so. I saw those figs in the $.25 bin at Comic World about 6 months ago and I showed them to scruffy and told him that I was going to pick them up and make one into a Mara fig and the rest into the Emperor's Hand Assassins. He had a good chuckle because he thought the same thing and had already made his Mara.
When I saw your Mara posted a week or so ago I had a good chuckle and thought that it was ironic but it made sense. When you see that fig it's hard not to think "Holy Crap! That looks like Mara!" But what's really cool is that even though all three of our Maras are similar, they all are different in many ways.
It took almost a week for me in my spare time to get these pictures and all the text together and up. I'll put up my blank and custom cards that I made as soon as I can-I have to get my files in order first.

I understand that every artist is protective of their stuff.
I can understand too. When Clone Strike came out, I looked at the Dark Side Acolyte and said "Hey Scarab from Heroclix would make a great mod for that."
Next day (before I finished mine) one of my freinds who had heard me already had his out on the table... never ended up finishing mine.

fantastic customs, any chance we could get another angle of the standing dark side acolyte, is that a new body or just a repose? i also pin my modds to add strength and it helps get the angle you want. you dont seem to paint whole figs once you have modded them do you find it hard to match the colours for touch up painting? keep up the good work! i cant decide if i am inspired or intimidated

I can't help it. Not a bad job. Painting can use some work though. Good to see a bunch of customs. I'm currently working on a Han on Taun Taun - Completely repainting the whole thing.

Impressive. Most impressive. (sorry, I had to say it) IS, this is a pretty incredible body of work, and to think you did it all with everything else you've got going on...My hat's off to you. AFAIK, this is really your first foray into modding and painting miniatues...? I've seen you improve your techniques and get more and more inventive in the year+ you've been modding SWM figs, and I must say I am very pleasantly surprised and glad for you. I had no idea you would stick with modding for so long. And to think...I got you started on this whole SWM thang. *blush* hehe ;-)
