I was going through the FAQ, and I thought the wording on this Answer was interesting in light of Twin Attack.
Q: If a character has Double Attack, can it combine fire twice with another character?
A: No. Double Attack (and similar multiple-attack abilities) can be used only on the attacking character's turn. Combined fire is a special action that a character takes instead of taking its own turn. So a given character can combine fire to help another character only once during the entire round.
Because Twin Attack is not limited to the attacking character's turn like Double Attack is, can a character with Twin Attack combine fire on two attacks during a round? The rest of the answer would seem to negate that possibility. But the first sentence sounds like it leaves the door open...

Nah. I don't agree. The main thing about combining fire is that you give up your activation with that character to use them for combined fire. Ultimately the number of attacks that character is capable of making is irrelevant to combining fire. The first sentence is simply saying that Double Attack has nothing to do with it because Double Attack only applies to the characters turn.

A character using combined fire doesn't attack, therefore Twin Attack has no value in this case.
The Double Attack question could have been explained the same way, but this answer was written at a time when everyone was new to the game, including the people writing the FAQ.

I think it only applies to abilities that are considered "attacks". Special abilities are not attacks, (in most cases) thus twin attack shouldn't apply. In the case of lightsaber sweep, THAT IS A FORCE POWER!

Twin Attack applies on any attack that is not a Twin Attack. It will work with Lightsaber Sweep, as that grants attacks.
Also, this thread is 4 years old. Look at the post dates before you post.
