The wording says any han, can I get Han Galactic hero into a rebel squad in this manner?

Frozen in Carbonite does not allow you to break the faction building rules. This is in the FAQ.

I don't understand clearly the set up of Han in carbonite. The opponent sets up him but where? Exactly on his/her starting area or anywhere on his/her half of the map?  the glossary says " an opponent sets up this character along with his or her squad." I think the right answer is the starting area, but I'm not sure...
