I've been dealing with WotC for over 10 years. If the floor rules actually go up tomorrow, I will be surprised.
It might mean that hell has officially frozen over. :P

 You know, before I looked through this thread, I HAD assumed that it merged numerous different GOWK Threads that had appeared with similar-though-distinct topics. I was mistaken. It only merges four previous threads: *Shouldn't ban Anything
*Favorite GOWK thread?
*GOWK's Soresu Style Mastery, should be fixed!
*Honest-to-Goodness Question (and answers...?) Concerning (our most beloved) GOWKThe others are still littered about, somewhere on the later pages. It looks like... three of the threads are talking about the same thing. Presumably one is an original, since something had to come first. The other is a joke (Mine, so I'm a little offended, mind you, in a not-so-serious way. I just have to hassle.). So the merge has removed two arguably redundant threads. But I know I saw more than that. What happened to the other threads about GOWK? Let's see, there are three on the front page now. This one, the one I started to complain about the merge or potential ban (which I am now trying to let die), and the one created by DalsianDon that people were actually posting in. Huh. So, it's almost as if... people have naturally gravitated their GOWK discussions into a single thread, while the others have fallen to the other pages. It's almost as if GOWK discussions are not preventing people from posting about different topics, or something.  But anyway, back to a quarter of this thread's original topic... My NEW favorite GOWK thread is Mini's that should be Banned (a satire), for succeeding in uniqueness where my own thread could not. "Geeze, BaronGrackle, give it a rest."Okay, okay. Just so you know. Step on a dog's tail, and it whines. :P

It sounded abit like you were just giving the "zomgf don't ban him it will end the game etc., oh but I don't play DCI at all rant" that's been done alot and caused alot of unneeded trouble.
But you later posts have made it clear that's not the case, so apologies.
And I agree, he needs a ban for the right reasons only, but whilst some may seem to think otherwise, I think the majority of the pro-banners want it for the right reasons (i.e. restricts the Meta to GOWK and anti-GOWK, overpowered etc.)
Definatly no need to apologies.

well, Sarah's said to me via pm* there will be a big announcement about the GOWK threads on the boards after next weekend. So, I'm thinking that it may be around that time the floor rules update will be up from the web team due to the July 4th weekend.

Well I for one admit I have not followed the argument. I do not know if this idea has been submitted, but most likely someone has thought of it. I for one would much rather see an errata than a ban. I would suggest degrading the Sorensu to succeed on a 15 or 16 rather than an 11. Personally I feel that dropping the success rate should allow the fig to be playable and priced fair enough for competition. It seems the whole complaint is on that one skill. By fixing it I'm hoping the fig gets fixed enough I can still play it if I want.
If this has already been discussed my apologies for not having the time to keep up with the forum :D
