Check out the latest Legacy of the Force scenario, Empire vs. Empire, post your battle reports or just talk about it!

Ok, I looked at it and I guess the scenario is supposed to mirror issue 1 of Legacy, right? If so I don't get why the Sith squad has Imp Officers and Stormtroopers. Also, if this is the case I don't get why Krayt isn't there. If not, then its cool... I guess.

I wonder if it makes more sense storywise that Nihilus' is the side that gets reinforcements.. i.e. the pursuers getting help to stop the traitors.

this scenario suffers from the map. i played this scenario against my son twice and against myself. and the sith lost everytime. there was some bad die rolls 4 the sith but the reinforcements is killer. by the time the sith can really engage the imps have picked'm apart. Even with optimom placement (within the rules) for the sith is hard to progress after lossing a first and second initive, and again the reinforcements is killer. I had Nihl with 50 Hp, and my dark jedi at 60. I defeated one elite storm and one shadow trooper with the dark jedi, Nihl uses lighting to finish a IK. The IK and Elite storm regenrate begining next round, and I have to kill them again, but now I'm at a serious disadvantage in regards to hp. Plus I still have Draco and the other IK within a few squares of Nihl
Its fun if your playing the Empire, but not for the sith, and I've done both sides.

The time I ran it the sith actually won.
Partly due to poor advancement by the imps, but still the sith won and halfway through both of us thought the imps would walk away with it, but a lost init here and a few poor rolls there and the sith pulled it out.

I like the idea off using the map itself (the ship) to interact with the minis. I like the idea of how the reinforcements work. Two mechanics I might implement into our own fun scenario-like games.
Haven't tried this exact one, but it looks like it has some neat interactions. True, the map is a huge disadvantage for any melee units against any shooters.
