I like how it was necessary to have a special scenario rule for "Smoke" to make the Korriban map fairer.

Maybe one day we'll get a "Ugnaught with Fog Machine" (or more likely an R2-D2) to bring a similar ability to the regular game. Probably be a within 6 ability. It'd certainly give a solution to some complaints, like preventing Disintegration and giving a bit more protection to melee squads against shooter squads.

Yes, the Korriban map is challenging from that respect. It wouldn't be so bad if both sides had a mix of melee and ranged, but the Mandalorians were too good, and some of the republic units too few HP to make that work. I could've tried a different map, but wanted to use this one, because I haven't used it in a scenario before, and now that it's in the starter, it seemed like a good fit for this.

I like the R2-D2 idea. You can basically do something like that in the RPG with a fire extinguisher. It could be a fun scenario rule, if nothing else. Or smoke bombs...hmmm....yeah, that could work.

I like the "smoke" idea. Like concealment. Reminds of my favorite Sterling scenario from a couple of years ago where Vader and Stormtroopers or Clone Troopers hunt jedi on the hardboard.

Another succesful scenario. Sigh, if only they had had you write the UM books perhaps they would have been more popular, Sterling.
