Added the maps for module 08 - The Gem of Alderann same rapid share site - folder and password listed in the first post.
These are pulled form the module then I removed all the notiations that players should not know - stuff like starting positions for the opponents.
GM Sarli has a version of these maps available at cafe press... they will print them and mail them to you in full color.
Enjoy, Jedi Dade

Hint for us Europeans: Use progs like Posteriza to split the maps onto DIN A4 sheets.
Best regards Are the maps REALLY sized to 1 inch? To me it seems like those are rather sized to 1 cm... Strange.

OK sorry guys 've been traveling a TON for work and have not gotten around to posting for 9... I will shortly.
I resized the maps but have not removed all the GM only info from the maps...
As for resizing them - the maps are resized so that 1 sq is aproximately 1 inch square. for your Metric people that is approximately 2.5 cm x 2.5 cm for each square. If you look at them online your browser may be resizing them... I don't use any fancy tools to do the resizing so the sizes are approximately 1 inch square - they do vary depending on how good my eye is that day but non of them are 1cm... which would be too small for a mini base to fit.
Also there are a few maps I resized that are 1 sq = 2 inches = This is because WOTC made the scale that way OR I thought that scale was off based on the size of objects in the map (where giants tread is a good example of this wit thje players ship) those maps tend to be HUGE but make for an awesome battle! I just ran my group through them - took some pics too - I'll have to post them...

It was Cool but a pain. Even using the big printers at staples I had to do it in 2 LARGE sheets that I had to tape together. Still better then 80 8.5 x 11 sheets tapped but still a pain. the results were pretty cool though... Jedi Dade

So here's my plan for RoW escape. I have: Lego Slave I or tile from Holocron(PC ship) PocketModels AT-AT XWing tile (Z-95 from QoAaD, PC fighter)
What I need are tiles/maps for other ships. I could not get the Mediafie link in 1st post to open (404error), and I know nothing about .rar in the other link. Throw me some bones; what can I use?

.rar is another type of file compression - there are several utilities out there that will decompress it. winrar for one. I think I posted uncompressed version up there as well didn't I? its been a while...
for props I have found the 1/48 scale models work well... fine molds makes a 1/48 Xwing kit that is really nice... I also use the Hasbro "toys" and other stuff. There are alos some cool sci0fi "terrain" items that you can purchase that are usful... the crates and barrels on the pics above are things I got off ebay. The star wars minis are great, the tiles are decent but I like 3D stuff better. But little bottles and odds and ends do a pretty good job of adding cool detail to the maps.

Hey, Jedi Dade,
Thanks for all your great work. I've actually printed your maps for DoD Ep1, and it went over real well.
The only maps I haven't downloaded from your work are Ep7 and Ep9. (Ep9 because I'm not a "premier" user of rapidshare, and can't download it yet because I just finished getting Ep8. I hate them as a filesharing site.)
I'm trying to download the Ep7 maps and the mediafire link says that the file is gone.

I really don't have anything to do wit hthe media fore stuff so I cna't really help out there. Drop a note to Glacialis and see if he can restore the link. On the plus side I'm REALLY glad you like the maps and got good use from them. They've worked out well in my game and I'll probably employ the same technique in all my games going forward. Having them printed on the large paper costs a bit but I am very happy wit hthe results. If the original maps in the module were higher resolution it wold be even better but they are pretty nice as is... If only color printing wasn't so darn expensive... My paryt and I have decided to take a break in DoD until its finished. we have started a 4th editon campaign that we will be playing until about 10th level then coming back to DoD to finish it off. We think that it will be done by then I will be finishing the maps as the come up though. So you guys may actually get to use the maps before I do Jedi Dade
