It is because it doesn't have a full stat writeup.

You are right, the other variant do not have full stat write up and I do not know where some informations (princing, weight, etc) where taken. I do not want to make up new stuff.

The core book on page 133 says that snow trooper and sand trooper armor costs 18,000.  For some reason, I think it was a dev ruling comment that the price applied to all stormtrooper armor, al though I don't remember where to find it.

I've added the Radtrooper armor and the EVO trooper armor from Force unleashed. There is a lot of stormtrooper armor variant in this book (jumptrooper, coruscant guard, Phase Zero Dark Troper) I haven't added those because they have nothing more that the basic stormtrooper armor. Is that ok ? The EVO trooper have the feat Armor Proficiency (medium) should the EVO trooper armor be listed has Medium ?

The clone trooper in that book have the "clone trooper armor" and it is very similar to the stormtrooper to. In Clone Wars Campaign Guide, there is a lot of clone trooper armor. Even clone trooper armor variant (fire-resistant clone trooper armor, which if we look a the feat would be Heavy armor) that do not explain it's "Fire resistant" property. What should I do with those ?

I will gladly add all the armor people want, it is not a big task, but the bigger part of the job is paging through the books and trying to find the right data. What people could do for me to add armor would be to provide these informations :

Name
Type (Light, Medium, Heavy)
Bonus to ref
bonus to fort
max dex
price (optional)
Weight
Availability (if Licensed or more)
Extra (ex: Integrated Comlink, +10 Fortitude Defense against fire and extreme heat)
Slots for update (optional -> default are : Light =1, Medium = 2 and Heavy = 3)
Does it come with an helmet (Helmet, Helmet with package, helmet with low-light vision)
Jetpack include ? how much gas capsule ?
Does it provide bonus to certain skill and how much ?
Source (book, page)

Also, I'd like to remember everyone of the custom armor creation possibility for those exceptionnal case where you need a special suit of armor. In the Armor sheet select "Custom" for the Category, "Custom armor" for the Armor and the Custom Weapons and Armor sheet will become available.

Found a new error in the VB coding.  Sheet I'm using is 1.4 (Ilmion fixed 0.5).  This error was found builing a "Beast" with the following:

Size: Huge Beast 11
Speed 10

Abilities: Str 32, Dex 8, Con 28, Int 1, Wis 14, Cha 6 (after size adjusments)
Fighting Space: 4x4  Reach 2
Natural Weapons: Bite, Claws (2)
Include Power Attack: 2

Traits: Low-light Vision

When selecting the weapons tab I get a VB Error: "Run-time error '1004': Method 'Range' of objec'_Workseet' failed" with the following text highlighted yellow:"  typecol = getcolumn(Beast.Range("BeastDamageTypeCol").Column)"

Any help would be appriciated.

Forgive me if this has already been stated, but I've just found this thread and there is a lot here.

For some reason the sheet is giving my Jedi character a +2 misc bonus to Perception. I can't for the life of me figure out where it would be coming from so I think it might be a glitch.

EDIT: I saw the thing above about the Droid Tab, I don't think that is what is happening with me as the Droid Tab isn't open for this character.

Anyway, here's the character:

Cale Orden    CL 6

Medium Umbaran Jedi 6
Destiny 6; Force 8
Init +6; Senses darkvision; Perception +12
Languages Basic, Huttese, Umbarese

Defenses Ref 20 (flat-footed 17), Fort 17, Will 19; Deflect
hp 80; second wind +20/40; Threshold 17
Immune +5 to Fortitude and Will Defense against any Use the Force checks, +5 to Fortitude Defense against extreme heat and cold effects

Speed 6 squares
Melee lightsaber +9 (2d8+4)
Ranged by weapon +9
Base Atk +6; Grp +9
Special Actions Adept Negotiator
Force Powers Known (Use The Force +16) enlighten, Force slam, Force whirlwind, mind trick (2), move object, rebuke, surge, hawk-bat swoop

Abilities Str 8, Dex 17, Con 10, Int 12, Wis 14, Cha 17
Special Qualities sneaky
Talents Adept Negotiator, Deflect, Force Persuasion
Feats Force Sensitivity, Force Training (3), Skill Focus (Use the Force), Unstoppable Force, Weapon Finesse, Weapon Proficiency (lightsabers, simple weapons)
Skills Knowledge (galactic lore) +9, Perception +12, Persuasion +6 (may Use the Force +16 instead), Stealth +6 (may reroll but must keep the result of the reroll even if worse), Use the Force +16
Possessions all-temperature cloak, breath mask, lightsaber, utility belt (3 day food supply, medpac, tool kit, power pack, energy cell, glow rod, comlink, liquid cable dispenser), basic datapad, credit chip

Otherwise I think this is a fantastic tool and I am really glad it exists!

It will be the droid tab. The glitch occurs even when you haven't selected droid as your species. To fix it, you have to select droid, go to the droid tab, and clear it out (or at least remove the improved sensor package accessory), then go back and select the species you actually want.

Hey All,

I have recently downloaded and began using version 1.4 and i found that when I take levels as a Jedi Knight I do not gain any Force Techniques. The Data Sheet increases the number of Force Techniques I should have by level, which is fine, but "The Force" tab does not allow me access to Force Techniques.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks for all the hard work. It IS APPRECIATED. Speaking of hard work, any chance you could make a new house rule featuring the following different feat/level progression system to the sheet? It would help alot as my PC"s don't use the old 3.0/3.5 D&D Feat Progression system anymore. ^_~

Level            Feats Gained

1st                1st Feat Gained

2nd               2nd Feat Gained

3rd

4th                3rd Feat Gained

5th

6th                4th Feat Gained

7th

8th                5th Feat Gained

9th

10th               6th Feat Gained

11th

12th               7th Feat Gained

13th

14th               8th Feat Gained

15th

16th               9th Feat Gained

17th

18th               10th Feat Gained

19th

20th               11th Feat Gained

If it's possible to impliment this new feat progression system as a house rule I'd appreciate it if it were done. Thanks a bunchies. ^_^

Remember that Jedi Knight gains access to Force Techniques only at second level and every even-numbered level after that (ie Jedi Knight 2,4,6,8,10).

Also, do you have the latest version of Sagasheet? It can be found in Ilmion's signature. Here is a copy of the link:

Miraluka seem to be working as intended, as far as I can tell:

They have 1 Feat at level 1, like all characters.
They are granted the conditional Bonus Feat of 'Force Training' if they are trained in the 'Use the Force' skill.

Can you give us some details on what your character sheet looks like, so we can figure out where the spare feat might be coming from? Are you using the most recent version of the sheet (Kenad Broki's SagaSheet 1.4 (with my corrections 0.5))?

Thanks,

Here's the fix:

In cell I785 of the Talents sheet, enter the following:

You can put Explosives in Weapons. You can put the damage and the burst radius. Instead of the attack bonus, just put "Special."

Or you can just put Explosives in Equipment.

I have an idea about the excel sheet not working in more recent version of excel, but I haven't put my theory to the test. A lot of the cell naming are no more compliant. ex : L1Name was legal in excel 2003, but in more recent version it is not. I think in some version it is tolerate, but you can add name like that, but maybe in some version it just doesn't work. As I said, I'd have to put this theory to the test and if this is a problem, I would be a long and boring job of renaming all the wrongly named cells.

The names effected by the update to 2010 are RA1-RA10 and UTF1-UTF3.

While I'm not entirely sure what UTF1-3 do, RA1-RA10 are used to fetch the data for Racial Abilities.

When converting to a Macro-enabled Excel Sheet, the above named cells are renamed with a _ prefix:  _RA1, _RA2, etc.

To fix the racial abilities, edit the SpeciesRacialAbilities Sub in the 'Character' sheet as follows:

Around line 1318, you should see the following block:

For x = 1 To 10
Character.Range("RA" & x).Value = RA(x, 1)
If Not Character.Range("RA" & x).Comment Is Nothing Then
Character.Range("RA" & x).Comment.Delete
End If
If RA(x, 2) <> "" Then
Character.Range("RA" & x).AddComment (RA(x, 2))
Character.Range("RA" & x).Comment.Shape.Width = 150
Character.Range("RA" & x).Comment.Shape.Height = 10 + (Len(RA(x, 2)) / 30) * 10
End If
Next x

You need to replace all instances of "RA" with "_RA".  When you're done, it should look like this:

For x = 1 To 10
Character.Range("_RA" & x).Value = RA(x, 1)
If Not Character.Range("_RA" & x).Comment Is Nothing Then
Character.Range("_RA" & x).Comment.Delete
End If
If RA(x, 2) <> "" Then
Character.Range("_RA" & x).AddComment (RA(x, 2))
Character.Range("_RA" & x).Comment.Shape.Width = 150
Character.Range("_RA" & x).Comment.Shape.Height = 10 + (Len(RA(x, 2)) / 30) * 10
End If
Next x

Remember, only update "RA", not RA.

It is my understanding that in the 2010 version of Excel RA1 through RA10 and UTF1 through UTF3 are now valid cell numbers so they are no longer allowed as variables. To correct this perhaps the next update could changes the names to RA_1 ect. to allow the conversion without an error.

Also I found a small error in the sheet. Superior Tech is only allowed to be taken once by the sheet, but the books allow it to be taken multiple times, each time applying to a different category of item (weapon, vehicle, ect.).

That was precisely what I was looking for, thank you very much. One question, though; I am using Office 2010 like others who have had problems, and when I try to select a ship all I see are a list of numbers. This suggests to me that the wrong variable field is being accessed, which makes me think it is the 2010 problem I saw posted earlier about the SagaSheet.

Would you have any idea how I might correct this problem? I have no idea how to edit a spreadsheet, but I can follow instructions very well, so if you could tell me what needs to be done I will happily do it.

Lastly, if someone could tell me how to edit the data in my spreadsheets so I can make the fix to SagaSheet, that would be much help.

Many thanks.

The names effected by the update to 2010 are RA1-RA10 and UTF1-UTF3.

While I'm not entirely sure what UTF1-3 do, RA1-RA10 are used to fetch the data for Racial Abilities.

When converting to a Macro-enabled Excel Sheet, the above named cells are renamed with a _ prefix:  _RA1, _RA2, etc.

To fix the racial abilities, edit the SpeciesRacialAbilities Sub in the 'Character' sheet as follows:

Around line 1318, you should see the following block:

For x = 1 To 10
Character.Range("RA" & x).Value = RA(x, 1)
If Not Character.Range("RA" & x).Comment Is Nothing Then
Character.Range("RA" & x).Comment.Delete
End If
If RA(x, 2) <> "" Then
Character.Range("RA" & x).AddComment (RA(x, 2))
Character.Range("RA" & x).Comment.Shape.Width = 150
Character.Range("RA" & x).Comment.Shape.Height = 10 + (Len(RA(x, 2)) / 30) * 10
End If
Next x

You need to replace all instances of "RA" with "_RA".  When you're done, it should look like this:

For x = 1 To 10
Character.Range("_RA" & x).Value = RA(x, 1)
If Not Character.Range("_RA" & x).Comment Is Nothing Then
Character.Range("_RA" & x).Comment.Delete
End If
If RA(x, 2) <> "" Then
Character.Range("_RA" & x).AddComment (RA(x, 2))
Character.Range("_RA" & x).Comment.Shape.Width = 150
Character.Range("_RA" & x).Comment.Shape.Height = 10 + (Len(RA(x, 2)) / 30) * 10
End If
Next x

Remember, only update "RA", not RA.

Good catch ! but they are other place in the macro code that "RA" is used. It is used in the statblock generation and attack calculation. Too much line of code to post here, but is you open the macro and do a reseach in the whole projet, you'll find the other reference.

Hi Ilmion! Here’s my new list of errors for version 0.5:

Sagasheet 1.4, Ilmion fixed 0.5 Errors:

Droid tab: Droid Degree error:

When I select “Droid” in Character tab, the Droid Degree drop-down menu is frozen (cell D8 in “Droid” tab). It’s supposed to allow you to select 5 different degrees of droid. It’s stuck on “4th (combat, security)”

Droid tab: Systems error:

Intermittent error: The “Systems” drop-down menu does not always match the “System Type.” For example, if I try to change an “Appendage” in System Type and it should display things like “hand, claw, etc”. Instead it shows me the Accessories.

Partial fix: If I delete the “System Type” and then select it again, then it will display the correct “Systems” in the drop-down menu.

Droid tab: Hardened Systems error:

Hardened Systems is not adding any bonus to hp and damage threshold

Character tab: Weapon Proficiency (simple) Battle Droid bonus feat error:

When I select Species “Battle Droid”, the bonus feat drop-down menu at the bottom appears (cell C34 in the Character tab), and I can select any Weapon Proficiency and it will add it to the “feats” tab. However, if I select Weapon Proficiency (simple), it will not add Weapon Proficiency (simple) to the “Feats” tab. All the other Weapon Proficiency work fine.

Character tab: Cannot make large Battle Droids error:

If I select any stock droid chassis (ex: "Battle Droid"), I cannot make larger than medium droids. I try select the size from the drop-down menu (cell G8 in the Character tab). But no matter what size I enter (ex: Huge), it goes back to Medium. If I select plain “Droid,” I am able to make larger droids. In ”Droid” tab cell N4, the size says “medium” no matter what I enter in “character” tab cell G8.

Languages tab: Felucianese error:

I can’t select Felucianese from the Extra Languages drop-down menu

Feats tab: Recurring Success error:

Cannot select a feat or talent with Recurring Success (the boxes appear, but they are greyed out and I can’t put anything in the box to select it). The "Recurring Success boxes"appear in Column M in the Feats tab, and Column R in the Talents tab.

Kudos on your tireless bug-hunting crusade, Richter.

I wonder if it would be worth talking about the future of SagaSheet in terms of upgrades and new features. I don't know about the rest of you, but my big two requests would be:

1) Make the sheet work better with more recent editions of Excel (2003 was a long time ago, after all)

2) Have it generate a better-looking character sheet. SagaForge has a really nice sheet (albeit with tiny fonts I can barely read)

What would YOUR SagaSheet "wish list" features be?

Hello Everyone!

I am totally new here...better late then never I guess, heh. I just wanted to take a quick moment to thank you all for all of your hard work on the saga edition source material. There is some really great stuff here. Until I came here, it has been a virtual wasteland outthere for Saga stuff....I have never seen anything like it! I used to do a lot of this sort of stuff when I was younger, but these days I just don't seem to have the time and the drive I once had. Nice to see that the spirit of keeping Star Wars Saga Edition is alive and well, post license. Thank you for your vigilance!

To my questions, I am searching high and low for some source material on the Death Watch, most notably Pre Vizsla, but there is NOTHING out there...anywhere! He is such a cool character. Do any of you have any material made up for him? NPC statistics, equipment, henchmen, ect? Also...I REALLY need a character right up for Lethal Alliance droid, Z-58-0, or otherwise known as "Zeebo"! Again, there is nothing out there for this cool little droid or his companion. I have never had such a hard time finding source material as I have for post license Saga. Thanks in advance!

Something I noticed.

On the Sagasheet 1.4 (.5 ilioman fixed) version, when you select astromech droid as your species, it should automatically make Mechanics a class skill and give you skill focus in either mechanics or use computer.

I don't know if It's just me but neither of those things happen. I've tried it on Windows 7 and XP, excel 2007.

Check for the helmet package in the Equipment tab. If not, select a Droid in the Character tab and click on the Droid tab. It could be coming from there.

I'm finding a problem, sorry if it has been asked before, can't seem to find it in the thread...

Anyhow, when I build a hero battle droid the "extra ability scores" slots in the abilities and classes tab for when you gain 4 levels never activate... they do work if I try to create a human hero, for example...

Is this a known issue?

This is an easy one and I feel like sharing the fix. For the other, I'll look deeper, but If they are to heavy, they'll have to wait for the "droid ultimate fix" !

So for someone who would want to become a force power machine, go to the top of the modCharacter module. Find this line : ForcePower(20) As ForcePower (this is suppose to be line 171). Just put an highr number than 20 and that should to the trick. The higher the number the higher the memory usage. But don't fret, 100 shouldn't break anything, but don't go outting 100000000... (anyway, the jedi order wouldn't let that happen.)

yeah, I'm still alive...

Make sure macros are activated. You may have to ajust excel security settings. Also, change sheet (for example, go in the skills sheet) some macros are triggered when changing sheet. Then, if you don't see "the force" tab with the others sheets, it is probably link to office 10.

To fix it, you have to select "droid" in the Character tab. Then go to the Droid tab, and clear out (or at least remove) the improved sensor package accessory, then go back and select the species you actually want.

You can download the Sagasheet 1.4 from my signature which contains this fix and other fixes.

Just in case this is still being looked at and worked on I have a couple of corrections to add.

1) Pulse Charger weapon upgrade - Will not work with a Bryar pistol or rifle the way it is coded. In the ModAttacks module, under the IdentifyAccessories subroutine change the existing case check for Pulse Charger to:

    Case Is = "Pulse charger"
            If (InStr(1, LCase(ModWeapon(x).Name), "blaster") > 0) Or (InStr(1, LCase(ModWeapon(x).Name), "bryar") > 0) Then
                ModWeapon(x).Upgrades.PulseCharger = True
If BaseWeapon(x).Upgrades.PulseCharger = False Then Modified = True
            End If

2) Cost of tech specialist modifications are wrong. Currently the code is checking if (cost *1.1 > 1000) when it should be checking (cost * .1 > 1000). For the tech specialist ability, it's 1000 credits or 10% of the cost, whichever is more. This will probably apply to the superior Tech as well with the 20% of the cost. This is in the ModAttacks module under the ModifyWeapon subroutine.

That's all I've noticed at the moment.

Also, if add an area on the Abilities and Classes tab for Starting credits (naming it StartingCredits) the credits entry on the Equipment tab can be changed to read =StartingCredits-TotalCost. This will allow the Credits box to reflect remaing credits and accurately reflect on the Statblock/character sheet.

I can't seem to find the Sith Abomination template. You'll have to use the Bonus tab and make the changes manually:

In the Bonus tab, add the CON +4 and -2 INT and -2 WIS. Add Force Sensitivity feat. As for the CL and the Darkside Score, you'll have to change those manually.

Thanks richterbelmont10  for that i was looking all over for that. I think we need to get the template added to saga sheet.

I do have one query, I was interested in adding some more standard medieval weapons and possibly armour into the setting but am not any good at programming in Excel so can you give me any idea's on what I need to do?

In the Weapons tab, under Category drop-down menu select "Custom" then in the Weapon drop-down menu select "Custom 1". A new tab will appear called "Custom Weapons and Armor." Fill out the custom weapon's stats. You can "export" the weapon to a file so you can "import" it later on.

Sorry for the late reply.

I am releasing a new version of Sagasheet. It contains some basic fixes. However, I’m not a programmer like Ilmion or Kenad Broki, therefore I was only able to make basic or partial fixes.

Here is the latest Sagasheet. It’s called Sagasheet 1.4 (Ilmion fixed 0.54):

Download latest version of Sagasheet!

Note: the latest version of Sagasheet can always be downloaded from my signature. Click on “Compiled files…”

Here are the errors that I have fixed in version “Ilmion fixed 0.54”:

Errors fixed in Sagasheet 1.4 (Ilmion fixed 0.54)

Errors fixed:

Statblock: When I select “Short Sword” in Weapons tab, it shows “double-bladed sword” in Statblock tab

Weapons: Pulse Charger weapon upgrade - Will not work with a Bryar pistol or rifle the way it is coded.

            End If

Weapons: The bow is not adding the wielder’s STR modifier to damage

Languages tab: I can’t select Felucianese, Vaagari, Sy Bisti, Paecean (Dathomiri Witch language), or Utapese from the Extra Languages drop-down menu

Species: Herglic speed should be 6sq not 4sq

Armor: Add Ubese environmental suit (S&V page 12: as Combat Jumpsuit with +2 Fort)

Weapons/Statblock: The Darter is registring as a Melee weapon. It should be a Ranged weapon

Statblock: contact stunner does not show the 2d8 stun damage, it only shows the 1d4 normal damage; same thing with stun baton and stun bayonet

Here is a complete list of errors that remain. They contain errors reported by others in this thread, as well as myself. They are a complete collection of old and new errors. I have entered comments and notations on the Sagasheet 1.4 (Ilmion fixed 0.54) indicating most of these errors. I put all the “Droid” errors at the end of this list since there is a huge issue with that.

New and ongoing Errors:

Error

Feats: Superior Tech cannot be chosen more than once

Feats tab: Droid Shield Mastery not available even when prerequisites met. I selected “Droid” and added an SR 20 shield generator

Feats tab: Recurring Success allows the selecting of talents but not feats. Cannot select a feat (the boxes appear, but they are greyed out and I can’t put anything in the box to select it).

Statblock tab: Statblock does not always display all of the abilities of a chosen species; for example, the Anzati’s Soup Drinking ability is not listed anywhere in the statblock.

Talents tab: When I gain a level of Force Disciple, one Force Adept talent becomes available. When I select it, the box showing available talents does not reduce from “1” to “0”. It stays at “1”, no matter how many talents I select. In other words, you can select an infinite amount of Force Adept talents with one level of Force Disciple. You never run out of Force Adept talents.

Talents tab: Droid talent “Just a scratch” does not become available even when I meet prerequisites. I tried duranium battle armor (heavy) and Durasteel battle armor (medium)

Abilities and Classes tab: when I select Shard species, the Constituion is available to be modified, but it’s not counting towards the Point Buy. In other words, I can enter CON 18, but the Point Buy will show the same number

Shards: when I select Shard species, the Use Computer bonus skill is not activating

Feats/Talents: Force Perception does not activate Unwavering Resolve

Feats/Talents: Bonded Mount (Force Adept talent) does not become available after selecting Charm Beast (Dathomiri Witch tree)

Beast: Can’t make beasts with Sagasheet 1.4. The weapons tab gives me a runtime error. (Temporary fix: use Sagasheet 1.31c to make beasts)

Equipment: Add Infragoggles (KOTOR page 150), grants low-light vision

Talents/Statblock: I select Watchful Step which allows me to use Perception modifier instead of Initiative modifier. However, in the statblock, the “Init” entry near the top of the statblock is still showing the original Intiative modifier instead of the Perception modifier. (The “Skills” section of the statblock is ok)

Armor: It would be nice for the option to Attune an armor as per the Attune Armor Jensaarai talent (+2 armor to Ref, +1 max dex)

Feat: Turn and Burn feat does not become available even when I meet the prerequisites (Droid, Dex 13, hovering locomotion)

Abilities and Classes: I have a Heuristic Processor and I select “Independent Droid” from the “Prestige Class” menu to see if I qualify for that prestige class. It says I’m missing a Heuristic Processor even though I have one.

Abilities and Classes: I select “Force Disciple” from the “Prestige Class” menu to see if I qualify for that prestige class. It says I’m missing a Force Technique. I have two of them! I have discovered that for some reason, if you have any of the first 9 Force Techniques, or any of the last 4 Force Techniques, the box does not recognize those Force Techniques as qualifying you for Force Disciple. (It’s not a big deal because you can take Force Disciple anyway, but still... )

First 9 Force Techniques:
Advanced Vital Transfer
Cure Disease
Detoxify Poison
Dominate Mind
Extended Blind
Extended Force Disarm
Extended Force Grip
Extended Force Thrust
Extended Move Object

Last 4 Force Techniques:
Improved Thought Bomb
Improved Valor
Improved Vital Transfer
Language Absorption

Statblock: Droid Systems do not display the page number when I click on “Show page numbers” checkbox

Statblock: Droid Quirks do not appear in the statblock

Weapons: The grenade launcher only gives the options to load frag, ion, and stun grenades, and the electronet. It’s missing adhesive, concussion, CryoBan, EMP, gas, radiation, and smoke grenades.

Statblock: When selecting Force Pilot talent and Starship Tactics feat, the Statblock displays “Starship Maneuvaers” and the Pilot skill modifier. However, it is showing the regular Pilot skill modifier instead of the Use the Force modifier from (Force Pilot)

Weapons: Neuronic whip deals 2d8 stun + 1d4 slashing damage; reach increases by 1sq

Weapons: Applying the Bothan template to the contact stunner does not increase the stun damage by 1 die, nor does it decrease the normal damage by 1 point.

Weapons/Statblock: Droid Smash talent does not seem to be adding the double Str bonus to one-handed weapons.

Character tab: missing Sith Abomination sentient template

Weapons: Missing Stun Bayonet (Web articles page 289)

Droid: Okay, I've come to discover that trying to create a droid character is impossible if you select “Droid” in the “character” menu. I get a “runtime error 13 type mismatch” when I do that. So forget that.

The only way you can make a droid with [Sagasheet 1.4 Ilmion fixed 0.3] is by selecting a stock droid chassis (by selecting “Droid, Labor” or “Droid, Battle” or “Droid, Astromech,” etc, in the “character” menu). Also, you can only make a medium sized droid this way. Any other size doesn’t work. It won’t apply size bonuses or penalties. If I select “large” in the “character” tab in cell D6, when I return to the “character” tab, it says “medium”. In ”droid” tab cell N4, the size says “medium” no matter what I enter in “character” tab cell D6. Manually entering "large" in the ”droid” tab cell N4 doesn't seem to do anything. In the “character” tab, cell D6 has option for size, but no matter what I enter, it will go back to “medium”.

Therefore, you have 3 options:

1) Create a medium sized droid by selecting a stock droid chassis (by selecting “Droid, Labor” or “Droid, Battle” or “Droid, Astromech,” etc, in the “character” menu). Make the size bonuses and penalties and adjustments manually.

2) I tried reverting to an older version of Sagasheet: version 1.31c. I was able to successfully create a large T1 Bulk Loader Droid. The only thing with this version of Sagasheet is that it's missing 3 books: Scavenger's Guide to Droids, Galaxy of Intrigue, and Unknown Regions. So you won't have the feats and talents from those books. But you can make a large droid. You can use the "Bonus" tab or the "Notes" tab to add extra feats and talents.

Sagasheet 1.31c: www.mediafire.com/?h8i35w7t8ss8n

Droid tab: When I select “Droid” in Character tab, the Droid Degree drop-down menu is frozen (cell D8 in “Droid” tab). It’s supposed to allow you to select 5 different degrees of droid. It’s stuck on “4th (combat, security)”

Droid tab: Intermittent error: The “Systems” drop-down menu does not always match the “System Type.” For example, if I try to change an “Appendage” in System Type and it should display things like “hand, claw, etc”. Instead it shows me the Accessories.

Partial fix: If I delete the “System Type” and then select it again, then it will display the correct “Systems” in the drop-down menu.

Droid tab: Hardened Systems is not adding any bonus to hp and damage threshold

Character tab: When I select Species “Battle Droid”, the bonus feat drop-down menu at the bottom appears (cell C34), and I can select any Weapon Proficiency and it will add it to the “feats” tab. However, if I select Weapon Proficiency (simple), it will not add Weapon Proficiency (simple) to the “Feats” tab. All the other Weapon Proficiency work fine.

Character tab: If I select any stock droid chassis (ex: “Battle Droid” ), I cannot make larger than medium droids. I try select the size from the drop-down menu (cell G8). But no matter what size I enter (ex: Huge), it goes back to Medium. If I select plain “Droid,” I am able to make larger droids. In ”Droid” tab cell N4, the size says “medium” no matter what I enter in “character” tab cell G8.

Droid tab: When Armor is selected in Droid tab, the "Max Dex" does not work (ie, it’s not limiting the Dex bonus to Ref). I think it has something to do with the “Armor” tab.

This is in the ModAttacks module under the ModifyWeapon subroutine.

I might be wrong, since I don'have my books with me, but I thought that tech specialist cost the tech 1,000 credits and coust the end user 2,000 credits (if it was purchased with the improvment).

First time being on this thread so just wanted to say to Adam Kent, m0sch0ps, Ilmion, and anyone else contributing to that SagaSheet 1.4, bravo! Freaking bravo! Laughing Makes it so much easier and open for new players. So now on to what I was coming to comment on.

Its regarding the feat Riflemaster. I know the description specifically says it only works for blaster carbines, blaster rifles, heavy blaster rifles, and light repeating blasters, but couldn't that just refer to a subclass of rifle?

For example, the heavy blaster rifle part of it says that it increases the damage die. Couldn't this also increase the other variations of heavy assault, commando special (?), BlasTech DLT-20A, and possibly others? Of course, we would have to classify what would be considered a 'heavy blaster rifle' in that case (minimum dmg die, weight, cost, size, etc.) but not addressing that might limit options for choosing the feat altogether. Seems rather a waste to say you can only use generic rifles to gain those bonuses.

If it would be too iffy a case to classify submodels on a permanent basis, then we could just put it under the house rule section.

Also for another problem I've noticed regarding portability: I've had friends try to run the spreadsheet on the OpenOffice version of Excel and they had less than thrilling results. Is there anything to do for this issue or is it simply an Excel only file?

Again, thanks for spreadsheet. It has made the game alot more fun and inviting.

Since there’s no such thing as a “sub-class of rifle,” you would have to create a house rule if you want Riflemaster to increase the damage die of all these other blaster rifles.

A legal way to increase the damage dice of these weapons would be to use the Rakatan weapon template (KOTOR page 79). The weapon then becomes an exotic weapon.

In the file of one player there is a little error in the armor tab. If he changes one of the talents to Attune Armor of the Jenssarai and uses the attune dropbox under Modify Armor it adds the talent bonus of +2 Ref and +1 Max Dex twice.
The File.

You need the Dual Weapon Mastery feat for this to work. In the weapons tab, enter a weapon, and then enter a second weapon in to the right. Then you can click on the "Special Attacks" drop-down menu and it should give you the option of "Dual weapons." Also, the dual weapon attacks should be included in the Statblock tab.

There really isn't a spot on the character sheet to say "I'm from X tradition".  I'd say put under character notes or in your character's title description.

Sorry I can't help you; I don't know anything about "Excel for Mac." I know that the file won't work with Open Office. Also, people have had trouble using it with Excel 2007.

Hi guys!

We've recently started a Saga, and I found the spreadsheet very useful. Thanks guys!

But I have a problem with it. I use the very recent version (1.4 with fix by Ilmion, downloaded from richterbelmont10's link), and I can't export the character. I get a Microsoft Visual Basic Error 400, and then it crashes (it continues computing though, but never stops). I'm using Microsoft Excel 2013 (with Windows 7) now, but it was the same with Excel 2007.

I think there're some errors in the macro (at least Error 400 suggests that), bit I'm not skilled with excel macros.

Should I set some options in the Excel? Or is there somewhere a proper version and I'm using a wrong one? What should I do (if I had to)?

You're right. The Export Character function doesn't work. I suggest you simply save the file and copy the whole file wherever you want it. That's what I always do. Alternatively, you can copy and paste the "Statblock" and/or "Character Sheet" into a Word doc and keep the information that way.

Hey there,

Is it possible under the Bonus tab to give yourself an extra Trained Skill?  I see where I can give myself a bonus to the actual check, or set it as a "class skill", but not actually give it as a free trained skill.

But you can do just that. In the Bonus tab, there is a list of the skills. Next to each one is a box that says 'class' above it. When you click that box, the selected skill will now be a 'class skill' for that character your inputting into the sheet.

Edit: in clicking that box to make it a class skill, you won't need to take extra skill training feats.

He's asking about getting extra trained skills, not about how to make a non-class skill a class skill. I think the way he went about it was the best way, ie, get a bonus skill training feat.
