I've found these spreadsheets to be immensely usefeul. Thanks for putting them all together and updating them!
In customizing my Dawn of Defiance game, I started using the CL Calculator and I found some small errors scattered throughout. I fixed them in my own copy of it, as well as added some other features. Is that the type of stuff you are looking for in the next version?

Such fixes are much approved, but try to make sure what you updated and what not so your changes can be implemented in the most recently updated version.
Just a few bits of info that is missing in the Armor tab:
Scout trooper armor Cost: 5,500 credits This is a Combat Jumpsuit WITH a built in Helmet Package. The Helmet Package adds +4,000 credits to the cost. Someone forgot to add in that extra cost...
Stormtrooper, stygian-triprismatic cost: 9,600 credits, +2 to stealth checks to avoid electronic sensors. It is just normal Stormtrooper Armor with the Stygian-Triprismatic Polymer Template. This adds +20% to the price, Armor bonus +1, +2 to stealth checks to avoid electronic sensors.
Storm Commando armor Cost: 10,500 credits, Restricted This is just normal Scout trooper armor with Shadowskin. This cost 5,000 credits extra and gives +5 equipment bonus to Stealth. Shadowskin is Restricted so thus the armor is Restricted as well.
Less certain but very probable:
Stormtrooper armor, reinforced Cost: 10,000 credits This is most likely normal Stormtrooper Armor with the TS Protective Armor trait. You double the cost of the trait when calculating the price.
Just a heads up those who work on the index atm, I did a ton of minor fixes of spelling errors. The SWSE GM Utility matches the name of stuff directly with the book and reports every inconsistency and it's even case sensitive. To most these fixes will be irrelevant and often even invisible (removing a " " in the end of a name) but these are neccessary for the utility to work.

Thanks for this, I will include it in the Saga Index.

I believe the Storm Commando armor should be “military”, not “licensed.” All “trooper” armors (ex: Stormtrooper, Snowtrooper, Sandtrooper, etc.) are at least “military” grade.
Saga Edition RPG resource documents & reference tools: Compiled files of all resource documents & reference tools - NPCs, character sheets, Dawn of Defiance, Force and lightsaber form power cards, Jedi Counseling articles, NPC statblocks, Saga Index to all feats, talents, species, weapons, etc, Star Wars articles and web enhancements

Right now in the INDEX, Scout trooper armor is listed as Licensed. This is so because it is based of the Combat Jumpsuit and that is just Licensed.
But as the Republic or the Empire not likely are going to sell this to most people, they should probably be bumped up to Military, Rare as the rest of the armors used by those fractions. This would be a kind of community errata.
On the same subject, shouldn't the Zero-G Stormtrooper Armor and the Seatrooper Armor both have the Rare tag as well?
If we accept that Stormtrooper armor, reinforced is most likely normal Stormtrooper Armor with the TS Protective Armor trait. It should probably be listed with a weight of 10 kg. An argument could be made for adding some extra weight for the reinforcements, but that is more of a house rule. (I would probably stat it as 12 kg).

Ok I changed Storm Commando armor, Scout trooper armor, Zero-G Stormtrooper Armor, and the Seatrooper Armor to Military-Rare.
We should be releasing a new version of Saga Index soon!

I think that the change to a Military, Rare availability of said armors will give this part of the game some consistency.
As for the weight of Reinforced Stormtrooper Armor, you can safely put 10 kg. That is the same for all armors based upon basic trooper armor.
Something I would like is if all armor would get their number of upgrade slots stated. It would in moste cases mean just adding in a one in those empty slots I think.
Something else to consider is to move the creature and droid templates to their own tab in the Character document. They are a bit miss placed in the Index, aren't they? I'm also missing the Legacy extra modification template. What about the templates for creatures that adapt them for a certain climate, like: aquatic or dessert? There seams to be a lot of things that could be done to improve templates.
I would be happy to help, but I have a lot to do at work and university for the coming weeks. But I hope to do some of this for next ed.
I'm going to have to double check with JemyM, my partner in crime, to make sure he's finished his modifications. Then we can release it.
By the way, all the changes we made since the last version (v.2) we entered in green text in the sheet. Do you think there's any point to that? Are people really interested to see what's changed? The color changes can be a little distracting. Maybe the text should all be the same color? Opinions?

I think the armors with a "blank" in the Upgrade Slot column means they just have the generic 1 slot. Unless I'm mistaken? But we could put a 1 in there.

Actually, I just use the drop-down menu from the "TYPE" column, and I select a single template type. The sheet will then show only the Weapon templates or the Creature templates or any other template type. (We kind of have a lot of tabs already!)
But I know some people are not able to see the arrow that brings up the drop-down menu. If that's true, they are losing out on a big part of the functionality of the sheet. Maybe it depends on their version of Excel?

Can you tell the where I can find the Legacy extra modification template and templates for creatures that adapt them for a certain climate, like: aquatic or desert? (ie, Book and page number).
If you want to help us with hands-on modifying of the sheet, JemyM and I use DropBox to share the same file. Whenever we save it, it gets saved on the server so everyone has the latest copy of the file. But you'll have to ask him how to set it up. I've forgotten.

Yes I have an opinion, the green text makes it easy to see how much have been done, and if there is anything to take notice of. If you changed something I may want to change it back (not likely) or check how you came up with this new stat or rule quote. If I don't know what is new I can't do that. On that subject, what is the red text for?

Yes, that would be helpfull, but remember that some should have a "0" or "-" instead. Some armors can't be upgraded and some have no uprade slot.

Sure, I know that. It's just that creature and droid templates are more for making characters, and thus would fit in better there

Heirloom, Symbol of the Light and Heirloom, Steeped in the Dark Side are both stated as templates, and they come from Legacy Era, page 97. If we include those as templates, we should include Heirloom, Legendary Icon and Heirloom, Extra Modification as well. Observe that these may not be templates in the strictest reading of the rules, but if it walks like a duck... In other words they have the effect of templates.
I think I was thinking about the species traits from the SECR, page 275. They are kind of like templates as well... Not thet they call them templates, but they kind of are templates anyway.
