I thought the article was great. Good fluff. And I always love the adventure seeds that have come with each of these Planet Hoppers. And we get the Kiltik (a beast). Pink Jedi Ranger will be so happy.

While you rested in your cradle of power." -Lord Angral, The Old Republic Trailer"Am I the only one that saw the film and thought Obi-Wan was expressing an opinion of moral superiority/ideological victory with his statement? Y'know, instead of stating to the highly experienced combatant in front of him the obvious fact that he stood a few meters below him on the vertical axis?" - d20 Radio regarding Obi-Wan's comment to Anakin "It's over Anakin. I have the high ground."

For me it was simply lacking an accurate description of their appearance. Sure the image works, but I don't know what the difference is between the base species and the offshoots.
Everything else seemed fine to me.
For a third adventure seed, the party could help with some threat to the Cathar's return to their homeworld during the Clone Wars.

What's the deal with naming the Cathar species after the two individuals, Juhani and Myhr Rho? No room for creativity in the names?

Im sure that they meant that juhani and Rho were members OF this subspecies, not that it was named for them. This sounds like a retcon attempt at the various depictions of the cathar between the KOTOR game, TOTJ comics, and the RPG books.

Sigh. You've made so low as to use that cesspit of poorly researched user generated content, Wookiepedia: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Myhr_Rho

Another problem is that the "Myr Rho" are stated as being less cat-like. However, the reason Myhr Rho looks less catlike is because he shaved his fur because of the heat on Tatooine...

Sorry to drag this up, but it's entirely appropriate.
Were they resettling the planet at the time of the Clone Wars, or "by the time of the Clone Wars" it had been resettled? For a Dark Times campaign, I'm trying to put together some background for a Cathar.

I've got what may be a stupid question... I'm looking at running a campaign soon that starts on Tatooine, roughly around the beginning of the original trilogy. While I know a lot of various aliens hang around on Tatooine, I also know that during the 'Rebellion Era', many races either practiced isolationism, or didn't have the tech to go off-planet.
Long ramble cut short, d'ya think it's feasible to allow a Cathar fringer on Tatooine in that era?

Given that Tatooine is kind of out there on the boonies of the Outer Rim, and various spacers drift on through there from all over, I wouldn't say that having a Cathar around would be out of the question.

Whoah! Good catch, Browwiw! I had totally forgotten that there actually was a Cathar in the Cantina (in the Star Wars Holiday Special, that is).

And yet another bump because it's the most appropriate topic I can find.
Cathar, Dark Times. Anyone?
