PPs are definitely not immune. One of the Paladin ones got hit. It was technically a nerf, but mostly a correction of a rules loophole.
But major changes could make people very unhappy with the path they've chosen. I can see a sorcerer/daggermaster ending up with a completely useless path if they change the 18-20 crit feature to weapon attacks/rogue powers only.

That's exactly one of the changes that I somewhat expect though. Daggermaster has been abused for things outside its sphere for far too long. Daggermaster is fine if used by Rogues. It isn't if used by some other classes. Pit Fighter is probably also in the same boat, though I'm less certain what a fix would look like.
D&D rules were never meant to exist without the presence of a DM. RAW is a lie.

But the thing is, we can't expect players to anticipate in advance what will change and what won't. Pit Fighter has been around for 18 months and has survived multiple rounds of errata. It's been around long enough for Pit Fighters to have reached level 15 by now in LFR. Is it really fair, or even expected, to turn around to a player whose Pit Fighter is nerfed and say 'haha, now you have a useless PP for the rest of your character's career'?
Same with daggermaster. Some people see it as 'abuse' and some people don't, but we shouldn't be asking players to refrain from choosing paths, destinies or what have you because they're worried that if they pick a good one it'll be bashed, and they'll be stuck with their choice. So you have the choice of either picking a 'good' path and living in fear, or picking a 'poor' path and not enjoying your choice very much.
For stuff that can be retrained, like feats, I'm not so worried about changes. For irrevocable decisions like a Paragon Path, I feel that there should be a retrain allowed if the rules change.

LFR DMs shouldn't let anything happen when a player uses Solar Enemy.
LFR DMs should enhance the fun at the table, whenever possible. "Your power does nothing" is not fun.
I have yet to meet a player who won't go along with a reasonable interpretation of any unclear rule. (In fact, most are proactive enough to ask at the start of a game how I will rule - and usually offer me a fair interpretation of how they think it should be ruled.)
It's a game and a hobby. Now go out and have some fun!
I don't see anything unclear about the power—it just slipped through the cracks. The reality is that players should not take Solar Enemy until it's errata'd because it's perfectly legitimate for the DM to say that power does nothing. It's a bummer.
I totally understand that the DM should do everything in his power to make games more fun. However, changing the rules of the game is specifically not allowed under DME. I don't disagree with your approach, but how you suggest implementing it is fine for home games, wrong for LFR.

The good news is that they've started working on Dragon Magazine, and appear to be up to #374.
Grasp of the Grave lost the auto-daze.
Clerics took a few hits. Life Transference is a daily now. Hymn of Resurgence is a blast, not a burst. Potent Restorables (and other artificer feats) now only boost artificer healing.
This update appeared to primarily be about fixing Divine Power and Dragon Magazine 365-374, plus a little additional clean-up.

Oof. It didn't get decimated; it's an entirely different item. I'm usually pretty firmly in the "suck it up" camp, but I would back an item swap on this one.

Are you talking WotC or RPGA? I would be surprised if playtest critics of RPGA games are not used, unless the request is something that can't really be done due to a lack of resources (xp budgets etc).
Gomez
Benird is talking RPGA, and I know from talks around the tables this last weekend that the local play testers for Arts were very unhappy with the final module as an example. (No I'm not sure that is one that had Benird's name on it for PT.)
Off-topic for the thread, but it is probably worthwhile to have a playtesting discussion. I'm creating a thread here.
