Playtest Class - Current DDI Account Required?

Hello all,

I'm starting a LFR campaign this weekend and one of my players would like to play a monk.  In the wiki for legal options it's stated that a DDI subscription for Dragon #375 (May 2009) is required to play the class.  He had a DDI subscription but decided to let it expire in September.  Since he has access to Dragon #375, can he play as a monk?  Or, does he have to have an active DDI account to play as a monk?

Any help would be appreciated.

If he's got the PDF from Dragon 375, and / or he's got a copy of the Character Builder program with the data from that issue, there's no reason why he couldn't play the monk.

As far as I can tell, there's no rule requiring a *current* DDI subscription in order to use that content in RPGA play.  For that matter, even if it *were* required, it'd be a fundamentally unenforceable rule.

Keep in mind, we're getting a new monk article tomorrow. It's the finalized version of the april playtest.
