Many many moons ago a random forum somewhere had a thread comparing 4th edition D&D classes to World of Warcraft classes.
So, my question is: Can i play a Tauren Shaman in LFR?
DM: "OK.... uhh.. Moofasta, yeah.. the drow assassin is still 5 spaces away, it's your action." Annoying player: "FROST SHOCK!!!!"
Note: I'm surprised no one had gone there yet...

I think we'll have to give that squirrel some time... He lacks depth perception, so that makes getting around on these forums rather difficult. :P
At least you know your loyal knight is here. :D

We'll have to keep pushing this thread, to see if we can beat the old thread's record. New members who want to join SLFRT are welcome to, just make sure to stay off topic...
No, no, no. This post is on-topic and I demand it be baned. Bad, RedKnight *shakes newspaper* Bad! Go sit in a corner!

It was obviously commentary on the backward nature of aliens attempting to fit in to normal human society.

Who else is creeped out by Wolfstar76's new avatar? I mean, I know the guy and, well, it really does look like him!
Except his head is not that big. . .

It still needs a little tweaking. I actually had a better one made once, and when I went to make a screengrab, crashola.
Of course, I couldn't get it quite right after that.
I'll try again at some point. ^_^

new thread chunk: hilarious things that happen when you punch something (ie, knock it down a level). ive thought of about 20, but il start the ball rolling with:
1: statues come to life (green star adept un-becomes a construct)

Ok, so somebody (can't remember who) was talking about their all-warlord team, composed of Sir Ch, Sir Charge, Sir Cull, Sir Prize, Sir Render and Sir Round, and I immediately thought of this thread. ('cuz I miss it...)
So, without further ado, here's my Sir names:
Sir Mount Sir Fit Sir Ceese Sir Tenlee and Sir Oolean (Funny--he doesn't look bluish!)
Whatcha got?

meanwhile, our poor little thread is lagging, children, lagging far behind stt. Is this because we arent enjoying 4th ed as much as 3.5? is it because we just arent playing anymore? or are we just less crazy.
whatever the reason...
ok thats enough serious talk. 13 MAD POINTS for the first new post that makes me giggle.

You know.. it’s not the length of the vector that counts… it’s how you apply the force
I think my heart just lagged.
Want to meet up so I can excite your natural frequency?

4th ed, according to the reports relayed by my agents in those Other Realms, currently lacks Wild Mages, Rods of Wonder, Decks of Many Things, Zagyg, and copper dragons A general decrease in the craziness level is to be expected
*Azrien clicks her Lurid Purple Boots of Indiscriminate Jaunting and vanishes with a cry of, "Best toy EVER!"*
Re geeky pickup lines, xkcd has some physics-related inspiration here.

Yeah, we didn't get access cos he RAN away right at the end.
Metz however owns some awesome lurid purple Ugg Boots of awesome warmth.
As to the pick up lines, it's funny cos it's physical. (Hey I'm punny)

He was too busy laughing at us and casting two L9+ spells per round to run away, right up until we managed to exhaust his immediate action and THEN stick a dimlock on his area (cracked SR 42, which was just enough) and THEN put a Solar in an AMF right next to him (before his next turn). Mages in AMFs are not so good at grappling. (Our poor AMFed Solar had been chasing him around for a couple of rounds - we learned pretty early on why he was called Jumper. Silly permanent contingent effects...)

The problem is that we had Damun, (the 15th level cleric - We were playing APL 16) earth dreamer off to disrupt the ritual WHILST we fought the big bad.
Any Miracles/9th level spells were used to free gods.
Basically Alvin, and Eowimia took on those guys, whilst our figter wandered around and got his ass handed to him (poor Gentar disarmed those Rods of Quicken and Chain, and copped a it in response)
Raven (Luke Parry's wizard) annoyingly sat in an Otiluke's the whole battle.
Some random archer guy who was stuck on our table was blasphemied and plane shifted in the first volley, which was good cos he would have died...
- Pity you have no reason to come to Sydney cons, if you do, I will wear my purple boots and show you where his friend bought him his from...

I particularly enjoyed the way that the characters kept trying to count how many contingencies he could possibly have without necessarily thinking, "Maybe epic level NPCs can just make things up for Wish".
P.S. Wild Mage is a Sorcerer build in PHB2. Thought you might want to know.

FRCG p235: "Sloopdilmonpolop Large City, Population 12,000 This was once a holy city of the kuo toan deity Blibdoolpoolp, but the once-mighty shamans haven’t heard from their god in a long while. Many of the kuo-toas have turned to the worship of Ghaunadaur, Bane, or Istishia. Into this confusion came thousands of kuo-toa refugees, fleeing the tyranny of the Abolethic Sovereignty. Priest-King Ni-Gool-Veen Viboolkugoorg has fully converted to the service of Ghaunadaur and ignores all other faiths. He secretly wonders if he has chosen the wrong side, though, and is as eager to be proven wrong as right."
GAH!
SLOOPDILMONPOLOP HAS ABANDONED BLIBDOOLPOOLP!
