The DM does not sign the adventure log nor the advancement tracker form nor the Story award cert.
Exception, I think, DM should probably initial if the PC accomplished a task for a Quest Card. That information is to be written in the notes spaces of the adventure log. Something like "completed Task 3 of the Zhentarium Infilitration Quest", kwh. would do it.
Recording gp delta, xp gain, treasure bundle (letter code online, actual name on paper copy), and story award (1, 2, or 3 online)
It also gives the campaign staff a great database to study trends.

It doesn't show up for some people (for some odd reason). It should be under "My Characters" on the list of links on the right-hand side of the page. If it's not there ... I'm not sure. My first port-of-call would be http://wizards.custhelp.com and click on the Email Us tab.

So if you do not see a "RPGA D&D - Player Active" line in your membership list after you log on, try emailing.

A number of people have been reporting that.
It might be that adding that player to a non-tracked event will then allow you to add them to a tracked one (i.e. add them to a session of 'Home Campaign (Forgotten Realms) or whatever).
It might not. I've not tried it myself - and in fact when I did report a new player, while it worked, their name did not seem to be in the system the next time I reported them as having played.

ridiculous. I have been playing in 4.0 home games since the beinging of the summer and have had all those games tracked, but it looks like I am not appearing as a player so I can not add my character for tomorrows kick off LFR game for our group. After just spending 2 hours looking all over the site for the link I guess I am simply going to have to send an email. Some thing needs to be done about this insanity on the web site

"There is a problem with the membership number you have provided. Please correct it. If you are sure the number is correct, please contact the DCI/RPGA."
Not only I have to fill out every player's name when reporting an event because the database was lost but also the system tells me a valid number is invalid.
*sigh*
