Good day! I am looking for the point of contact person for the Dalelands (Northern Europe/Russia) region. I currently live in Denmark, and while it has been a while since I was involved with the RPGA, 4ed has "rekindled" my interest in the program.

So if at all possible - could those who are "in charge" please contact me, as I would dearly love to assist in promoting LFR events in Denmark. PM on these forums, or via email at vince dot kingston at gmail dot com.

Thank you for your time!

V

Your PoC (Point of Contact) is one Sampo Haarla.

I don't see his e-mail address listed, however, there's a Dalelands Yahoo! Group, and from there you can find the option to e-mail him, or you can join the group and join in the ongoing discussions there.

You can find the Dalelands Yahoo! group here: http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/LFR_Dalelands/

Glad to help. Gave me something to do while fighting a bout of insomnia.

Thanks for the quick replies all! Mostly I'm curious as to if there are any current groups active here in Denmark (that you all know of), and what, if anything, I can do to help promote things here.

Basically just if there's anything I can do to help you guys out here in "sunny" Denmark

Yah - its weird though. For a country that openly accepts gaming, and the gaming culture - its hard as hell to find any gamers here, especially outside of the larger centres.

Mind - that said, now I'll be able to travel to Copenhagen with more frequency, mayhaps finding gamers won't be as difficult (although finding a game in English could be a challenge...as my Danish is somewhat lacking ). Course - it won't stop me from running my wife (who's Danish and an RPGA gamer ) and her best friend through some good ol 4ed fun :D (though sadly no LFR )

I just miss the camaraderie we enjoyed (my wife and I that is ) when we gamed with the Pirates of the Plains back in Calgary, AB, Canada...and was kinda hoping to find something similar here

That, I believe, is Keith McCall, the American I mentioned. He's moved back to the States.
