Greetings Ladies, First off, I am a female gamer myself. Long story short my other female friends that game with me on occasion realized that we are typically sitting in a room full of smelly males. If there are more than two girls at any gaming event it's an odd occasion. With this in mind we are looking to start an *all* female gaming group. This idea was put together so once we all became comfortable with each other we may one day rejoin the boys and have evened out the numbers a tad. We are not looking to pair girls up with our less than capable male friends (but you never know). In all honestly finding other women that enjoy gaming is what I'm really after. I'm fairly new to Chicago and have never had an over abundance of female friends. This I figured was a good way to kill a few birds with one stone. I don't expect a great deal of responce to this post but I had to try. So if you are interested drop me a line on here or in a message. Starting up with a meet up for dinner or something is highly acceptable, just to see if we all like each other enough to try to game. If we don't end up with enough people to run our own group and you are just looking for a place to game, drop me a line, I'll see what I can do. I was hoping to play some sort of table top game be it D&D 4e, LFR D&D, hell anything people are interested in playing. Let me know, we'll talk it over. Check out Astrid's Parlor. All the females and non-smelly guys hang out there... good luck with that... (I've never treated a female player any differently than I have a male player)...

I live in Crystal Lake, about an hour from Chicago in the northwest suburbs. I just joined and am eager to play D&D. i really look forward to playing if possible. i know that this post is old and may not hold up.

Would you be interested in playing online? I've got a small group over here in Japan, and we're looking for anyone who wants to play. I'm the DM and there are currently two others in the group.
