Dave is a myth fabricated by the twisted minds at wizards.

Daaaaaavid? Come on, mr Noonan, show us that you're at least alive enough to haunt the boards (or put together a new podcast) .

I see David's name on several upcoming projects. I expect that he is extremely busy with getting product out.

Is it true? I was worried he had left Wizards.

Out to February 2009 releases, his name appears on:
Scepter Tower of Spellguard (September 16th) Demon Queen's Enclave (December 16th) Dungeon Delve (February 17th) - This may be a working title.
Amazon also listed several titles as the WotC Design team, so he may have a part in those, also.
Furthermore, he discussed in an earlier blog that he had been doing some design work (I believe) on the Druids for PH II.
Now the first two items above may already be largely finished, given the typical lead time for products. But the others may still be in early stages of design and development.
I, too, miss reading David's blogs and eagerly await the next podcast (which, as I understand it, is supposed to be a video podcast of an actual game.
So, it may well be that David is really, really swamped right now.

Hi, Any chance you could do record a play example of Skill Challenges (and a discussion on how they're broke and how to fix them) in the podcasts. For example the first skill challenge in Heathen: http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/duad/20080613aI tried that with my group, and it fell flat on its face. In the end i just skipped it. Thought i'd talk to the organ-grinder rather than any intervening monkeys

Hi Dave... I tired to private message you the following question about a month ago, but I think maybe the site isn't in full swing yet... I've pasted the original as follows, and if you care to just reply here, I'll book mark and check back. Thanks...
Orig msg: My party is nearing the end of Keep on the Shadowfell and I was strongly considering working in Treasure of Talon Pass before moving on to the Thunderspire module. My one concern is where to locate Talon Pass on the map of the Nentir Vale. Had you any particular or general place in mind when you envisioned the mini-module? Thanks for your attention and all your great work... Dave P, Dunedin, FL

I didn't have a specific spot for Talon Pass in mind. Heck, when I wrote the adventure, we didn't have Keep on the Shadowfell done yet. Any sufficiently remote place should work. One of the nice parts of a "points of light" setting is that you have a lot of "dark" to work with. Oh, and in case anyone has this specific thread bookmarked and is looking for updates...I do still blog, but each post generates its own thread. You can find all our staff blogs here or by clicking through from the main D&D page. --Dave.
