I was told that this game was multi-player friendly... However, after playing in our group that does not seem to be the case; unless we are reading the rules incorrectly.
It states that only the defending player may play combat fates/minions/tap abilities in response to an attack. If this is correct, then in a multi-player game; you could lose the game and not be able to stop it...
Here's the scenario:
3 people playing. Player one has an two abominations with at least two minions on each. Player two has one abomination, and it is only a one minion abomination. You, (player three) has one abomination with at least two minions on it. If player two cannot get around to play a minion onto his abomination; then player two can attack with one of theirs and keep the other one to block your abomination. This can happen for a few rounds, as it has in our playing group. Seeing, you cannot play combat fates or anything in response to player two being attacked; you could lose the game and not be able to do anything.
Are we reading the rules correctly?
Thanks.

See, this' the rules:
Play combat fates and combat minions: The aggressor may now play combat fates and combat minions (but no other fates or minions). Once the aggressor has played as many combat fates and minions as desired, the defender may play combat fates and minions. Other players can't play combat fates and minions.
Assign blockers: Each untapped abomination the enemy controls can block one attacker, preventing that attacker from reaping souls. Only one abomination can block each attacker. When an abomination blocks, the blocker and attacker fight. Other enemies' abominations can't block for the defender. If you attack the same enemy more than once in a turn, a blocker that survives one attack can block again (unless it's been reduced to one minion). Once an attacker becomes blocked, it's blocked until end of combat even if its blocker is removed from combat.
Play more combat fates and combat minions: The aggressor and then the defender may again play combat fates and combat minions, as before.
