I recently came into possession of 4th edition D&D and am excited to try out the new rules in order to see how much the game has changed. I have heard conflicting reviews, but mainly positive on the fluidity and fun from their experience. I also have 3.5 edition books for those who are not ready to make that conversion, but are also looking to play. Let me know if anyone is interested, and I will most likely DM unless someone else wishes to do so. As for play time it will probably be in the evenings 5 p.m. US EST

I plan on playing as a gish (warlord/wizard); it's my favorite fantasy archetype, and I haven't played as a gish in a while.

Also, are you open to using MapTool instead of MSN Messenger? MapTool is an easy-to-use virtual tabletop that has its own dice-roller. It's similar to OpenRPG, but much, much easier to use. You can download MapTool from http://rptools.net/doku.php. I currently DM a Saturday night game on MapTool, by the way.

It takes about an hour or two to learn, thanks to the video tutorials on the RPTools website.
