Wide Beta Discussion Threads
We have designated threads for beta feedback in order to keep the feedback organized and manageable, and also to keep the boards from being completely overwhelmed with discussion threads. Please keep all feedback about the beta in the following threads:

Finding and Playing Games
Collection, Deckbuilding, and Trading Cards

Store, Settings, and Miscellany

There is also a form that provides direct feedback to WotC here. Submit as many times as you'd like.

Because the beta is being continually improved, we will reset the feedback threads from time to time. Here are the retired feedback threads:

Retired 16 Jan
[Retired] Finding and Playing Games
[Retired] Collection, Deckbuilding, and Trading Cards
[Retired] Store, Settings, and Miscellany

General Information

The wide beta can be downloaded
here.

IMPORTANT EDIT: New Wide Beta survey available HERE. Please fill it out before Monday, April 1st.

During the beta period, both the old client and the beta client will be able to access the
live servers. You may choose either one, or switch back and forth as often as you wish. Remember that everything you do in the beta client affects your real account.

I recommend doing some open play on the new client before joining any paid events. If you encounter any technical problems with the new client that require compensation, please file it in the normal way.

In the next post I'll try to provide some instructions for actions that are substantially different in the new client.

I'm trying to make my official VCL posts in purple

You posted saying my thread was moved/locked but nothing happened.      Spoiler: Show
Unfortunately, VCLs do not currently have the tools necessary to take moderation actions directly. VCLs submit their actions to ORCs, who then actually perform the action. This processing can take between a few minutes and several hours, depending on how busy/attentive the ORCs are.

If you see something that needs VCL attention, please use this thread (MTGO) or this thread (paper) to make a request and a VCL will look at it as soon as possible.  CoC violations should be reported to Customer Service using the "report post" button. Please do not disrupt the thread by making requests of either kind in-thread.

Wide Beta Feedback Form
This form provides direct feedback to Wizards. Submit it as many times as you like.

Wide Beta Change List

Q&A videos
Magic Online Wide Beta Q&A
Magic Online Wide Beta Q&A #2
Magic Online R&D Challenge with Ryan Spain

How to view cards you do not own
1) Go to the Collection tab
2) Click the Quantity drop-down menu
3) Change the left slider to 0

That will show all cards, because it will show cards of which you own at least 0 copies.

How to export your collection or part of your collection
1) Go to the Collection tab
2) Change the filters so that the cards you want to export are shown
3) If you want to export your entire collection, make sure to clear all filters and select Quantity 1–20+
4) Right-click on a space next to a card and click Select All
5) Right-click on a card and click Export Selected Cards

How to export a deck
1) Go to the Collection tab
2) Find the deck you want to export in the bottom-left section under Decks & Binders
3) Right-click on the deck and select Export

Where have all my awesome decks gone?
The Wide Beta uses only the Net Deck format, which allows you to access your decks from any computer you log in to. There are two ways to load your decks.

A) Log out of the Wide Beta, log in to the current V3 client, load and save your decks as the Net Deck format, and then log back into the Wide Beta.
B) Import your local decks by selecting Add Deck in the Collection tab. (Most decks are saved to this path by default: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Wizards of the Coast\Magic Online\3.0\Decks.) You can select multiple decks and import multiple at a time.

How to watch a replay
You can watch replays only for completed events and games. You can also view your game history and replays by going to the Account tab from the main navigation bar and then selecting Game History on the left.

Are replays of all games saved?

Can I record a draft in a text file?
The draft recorder is back! You may now opt into the creation of a text file of every draft you play by checking the option in the Game History section of the Account tab. Now you can also change the save location for these files as well.

Here is some feedback I collected today while using the new client:
  1. It is not possible to distinguish foil and non-foil cards in the collection list view of the new client. Is it planned to add a corresponding column to the view?
  2. I can not see how much cards I have already put into my cart during a trade. Is it possible to add a sum information here?
  3. Why is the "Submit" button locked for 60s after posting a classified message? That makes it impossible to correct a typo without annoying waiting times. It is also impossible to remove a classified message (you have to log out from the client or post a single sign). I hope you will reconsider to change that feature to the former functionallity.
  4. There is no "Remove all of this" in the "You will receive" section of a trade and the context menu is not available while the list mode is active (in the whole trade view).
  5. Is it possible to load a wishlist as before? I only found the very circular way to filter with "Compare with wishlist" and then manually take the cards...

I would like to make some suggestions to chat windows.

When you are chatting with someone you can drag and drop that window to up, down, left and right side of the main window however after you do that, there is no close window icon (I mean the "X") it would be very useful if there is one because if you would like to close a chat window you need to drag that chat window and the close it.

Another issue I found is that I cant see my collection at all I have 30K + cards I was wondering if that is the reason.

Well thats all
