The option to set how long it takes for additional text to be displayed when hovering over cards has apparently been removed. I had always set it to be a little bit faster, but now it's stuck at what appears to be nearly three seconds. Additionally, the text displayed is missing one of the most crucial pieces of information I would like: the set name. If I'm viewing collections using the Card View (as opposed to list view), then all I see is a picture of the card. Well, I don't know the name of every set simply based on the icon. I know a lot of them, but not all of them. The only way I can see the set name then is to switch back to list view.
There's also an incredibly annoying bug that occurs when viewing cards in the collection: the scroll bar literally disappears, and it won't let me scroll down to view the rest of the cards. I have to close the entire client and restart it to get the scroll bar back.

simple and efficient human to human trading.
'simple and efficient' and 'human trading' do not go together. An AH offers nothing to wotc, you won't be seeing on for a very long time (if ever).
It wouldnt be human to human, it would an auction house where you put your cards up, pick a price and wait for someone to buy you out. It works great it games like wow and I dont see why its not in wizards best interests.
As is its wizards plan to get new player into magic through duels and then hopefully move them over to MTGO standard where they arrive to the mess of a classified system that is completely incomprehensible to new players. Wizards has every incentive to get new players into MTGO standard as fast as possible and they are leaving money on the table whenever someone goes back to their $10 investment in duels of the planeswalkers.

Interestingly enough, they have every incentive to get new players into LIMITED, far more than standard. And bots are way better for limited players(especially time conscience ones) than auction house.

Its funny that the only people that say that we can't live without bots are botowners .... like bank owners that tell us we absolutly need to save every sinlge bank or we are doomed.
but i guess its convinent for wotc that bots save them a huge amount of work.

This is a very narrow view. I am not a bot owner but I would definitely miss if they weren't around. That said I would like more user to user trade possibilites.
Please refrain yourself from making simplified generalizations.

Ask yourself why you would miss them. You would miss them because the current system provided by the client is terrible. Would you still miss them if we had a better trading system (not even talking about a fully functioning AH just a better system than the current one).

I am not sure I'd miss the bots themselves as much as I'd miss the narrow margins created by an efficient if fuedal trading system.

I enjoy two things about bots:
- they are always available for instant trade
- they offer a great way to check card prizes
And, as Telir said, a very liquid market makes for small profit margins. Even a fully functioning auction house would not provide all of this. An auction house would be nice, but it has its downsides. Of all the suggestions I saw recently, the only one that was really interesting was the possibility to view a user's trade binder without entering the trade, even if the user is already in the trade with someone else.
50. Doesn't hurt. Yet.

another positive of bots is they sponsor a whole bunch of player run events. remove the bots and see the prizes (and a lot of interest) in the pre's fall. An AH isn't going to sponsor our events.

Bots can exist, but right now the completly stifle human trading. I mean come on when you look at the classifieds you can't tell me with a straight face that you wan't this mess to continues .... More than half of the bots are just morons trying to scam people that are not familiar with the prices.
Why not make 3 chatrooms: one for human selling one for human buying and one where the bots can do whatever they want
alongside this comes the rule that any account that runs a bot in the first two channels will be banned, without exeptions.
Then improve the search function, and you have a system thats much better than the current one.
The current one looks like a workaround till the real trading system gets introduced, only for some reason they don't do that.
