Yeah, the moving part is the downer. Otherwise looks like a dream job that I'm actually pretty well qualified for. Someday maybe....

The moving should be the best part, because living in Seattle seems awesome.

Unfortunately, VCLs do not currently have the tools necessary to take moderation actions directly. VCLs submit their actions to ORCs, who then actually perform the action. This processing can take between a few minutes and several hours, depending on how busy/attentive the ORCs are. If you see something that needs VCL attention, please use this thread (MTGO) or this thread (paper) to make a request and a VCL will look at it as soon as possible. CoC violations should be reported to Customer Service using the "report post" button. Please do not disrupt the thread by making requests of either kind in-thread.General MTGO FAQYes, the Shuffler is Random! The definitive thread on the Magic Online shuffler. Sadly, I fail on all qualifications.
Guess what? Chicken butt.

Oh yeah, my qualifications are completely the opposite of what they are asking.
I think I'm probably qualified to do the job, but I don't have the credentials, is what I'm saying :P

If you are a USA Citizen maybe. I'm happy in my country.
No offense to Seattle & Area though. I'm sure it's nice enough (didn't get to see much when I was there).

Reading that job description pretty clearly outlines what feels 'wrong' with MTGO at the moment... What does " Help change, create, monitor and affect basis/metrics for deeper understanding of player behavior focused on, but not limed to things like player churn, average revenue per user & per paying user (ARPU & ARPPU), lifetime value (LTV), advanced demographic study, player segmentation, social mapping, and more." even mean?
I think MtG's motto should be Dilbert's dream motto: "Have fun, satisfy customers, make money." I get the feeling that before Hasbro that *was* their motto...

Well they could be like they when they were small but as a company grows it has to add structure, keep stock holders happy, etc. What you describe would fit Sean's job description more closely than the one Worth posted. What Worth posted is very necassary for a company of their size and for them to not run the numbers of player behaviors etc would be a total waste of a valueable resource.
