Dunno if this is the right place to put this, I thought about putting it in the Forums Business forum, but I'm sure it'll get moved if I posted in wrong spot.
Anyhoo, is anyone else having problems with autocarding? Two things in particular. One, when in quick reply, the pics of cards that come up in the posts above are REALLY small when you go to look at them. Second, while I'm putting spaces after an autocard entry, no space is being shown in post after I submit it. I have to go back in and edit post with 2 spaces after the autocard entry. But onlt SOME (most) of them. Is this just me? Started about 3ish days ago for me.
I haven't been having any problems. Can you make a post that examples the problem?
EDIT: I did remember having the "tiny card" problem a couple times but it's been around for awhile.
it sounds like a browser issue
what are you using? no problems here using Firefox
The little card issue is known and has been going on for a while. Nothing to do to fix it.
The second issue I've never heard about.
Didn't realize the small card thing was a problem. I only saw it for the first time a few days ago after coming back to boards a month or so ago.
As far as the othe issue, I usually edit and add a second space for legibilities sake. Maybe is my browser. Just using IE atm. Never been a firefox fan, the last time I tried to install Chrome it crashed my whole machine (to the point of unbootable, lost computer for a week). I'm sure it was a one-off and probably wouldn't happen again, but I'm still left with a bit of fear of doing it again. Almost ready to go back to Safari.
Do I need to hide from the browser war that's about to start???
DISCLAMER: As OP of this thread, I claim NO responsibility for the posts to follow concerning multiple posters' opinions on the best and worst of the browsers...
Why would installing Chrome, or any piece of software that doesn't mess with your operating system's internals, crash your computer? I'd put all my money on saying that it is completely unrelated. Also I experience the small card problem too.
And thirded. I'm sure that it was unrelated. Still left funky aftertaste though.
