I hope you're all enjoying the live coverage (as linked by Joekewwl above). There's also a page HERE with more links, and we've started a new official Magic Online Twitter account which will provide announcements and coverage, starting with the Community Cup (and starting about 3 hours ago when we got it up and running ).

I don't get it, how did we lose? Did Jackie Lee get DQ'd again or something?

I have no idea where you heard that from but the deal was if we won we get drafts if we lost we get sorrow's path. We lost by a good amount but not a disgraceful amount after coming from way behind. As disappointing as that is it could have been much worse.
I wish the community had more incentive and encouragement this year to get involved by giving us constructed formats to work with for the challenge but WOTC needed a win after 3 terrifying years of losses. I think the lack of community effort (aside from the PTP part which was given very minor significance imho) was a primary cause in the cc team not performing quite as well as they could have.
And I take partial blame for that because in years past Ive hung out all day in /ccc waiting for the cc members to show up so I could show them the decks I developed for the formats but since I am not in love with the one unified constructed format we did get I slacked off (not to mention no one bothered to join ccc or the fact that I've not been home for all of this month and part of last.)
My point being we are collectively responsible for the defeat. Just as we were collectively rewarded for previous victories.

I'm in the ATL airport with a 3.5 hour layover but wanted to say that being a part of the cup was amazing. Seriously we were treated like royalty the whole time we were there and I hope that a lot of you are able to be a part of it one day. I will have a full writeup w/ video hopefully early this week but I can personally say that the staff LOVES magic and yes they now all play minus some of the guys in marketing etc but even that is starting to change. A few of the staffers have made it their goal to get everyone in the whole building playing including the random departments where it's really not as important. You can really sense that there has been a lot of change in direction there in the last few years and while it may not be as apparant to us it was obvious that the direction things are headed are very positive. I won't spoil too much before I get the video up but just wanted to give you all a quick report. Also I wanted to say sorry for not winning the cup and my performance but I assumed I would be one of the weakest on the team. I ended up 5-6 overall I believe. Hopefully we can get the cup back in the hands of the community next year where it belongs and should stay.
Hardest part of the trip? Having Connely looking over your shoulder saying "Heath you have 2 minutes on the clock hit f2, swing and say go and don't make a mistake because you have no time for mistakes".
