I had the previous MTGO beta installed and wanted to try the wide beta, but I was getting the error in the title when I tried to update or install. And the uninstall doesn't work either. Gotta love this utterly user-unfriendly ClickOnce crud.
The solution is apparently to go into %localappdata% (Win7/Vista/probably Win8) and delete the "Apps" folder there.
This let it at least install/update. Of course, now I'm getting a crash when it starts with "Didn't find a matching enum value or range entry for 'CARDTEXTUREÿNUMBER'.", but at least that's progress. Sort of.

Win8 isnt supported for the Wide Beta version, yet.
So if your using WIn8 this is your issue. For win7, you file path would be C:\Users\PC name\AppData\Local\Wizards of the Coast\Magic Online this needs to be deleted.
You should try uninstall from Control panel first.
I have the WIde Beta on both XP and Win7, uninstall worked on both. Also make sure you have Uninstalled .Net 4.5 (and all associated programs) and than reinstall .Net 4.0 Full , as .Net 4.5 isnt supported either. I hope this helps. -Joe

Unfortunately, VCLs do not currently have the tools necessary to take moderation actions directly. VCLs submit their actions to ORCs, who then actually perform the action. This processing can take between a few minutes and several hours, depending on how busy/attentive the ORCs are. If you see something that needs VCL attention, please use this thread (MTGO) or this thread (paper) to make a request and a VCL will look at it as soon as possible. CoC violations should be reported to Customer Service using the "report post" button.
