Well, I have run into yet another bit of a quirk. In the beta client I have created a couple of decks specifically in that client, not imported from the regular one. I created a Momir deck several days back. I played with that deck in one of the 4 round Momir tourneys. Yesterday, I created a Commander deck. When creating the commander deck, I moved the slider on cards owned over to 18 on the left and 20 on the right. When I then clicked on swamps and islands to be put in the deck, everything was fine. When I went over to look at my Momir deck that I had played with as I said earlier, the interface was showing all but 3 of my land with diagonal lines through them and when i hovered over them, the interface was telling me those lands were not in my collection. I have not traded ANY lands in that time frame. HOW is it that I do not own lands that I played with in a Momir tourney. Also, a majority of the land that I put in my commander deck it told me I did not own....despite the fact I slid the slider over to show only stuff I own 18+ of.

This is wierd. I can edit my deck offline in the beta which would suggest that it's saved on my computer but when I search for the deck file it only shows me the v3 version save. Does anyone know where they are stored (in the beta besides the cloud saves)?
Try exporting the deck into csv. Works nicely, and can be imported into the spreadsheet of your choice.
As for where the decks are stored, look for files called grouping..... somewhere in the installation tree.
50. Doesn't hurt. Yet.

Yesterday it was suggested to me that I try the beta client because I was having problems joining a game in the current, non-beta version. The problem was the games jumped around way too much in the current version when you try and join them. I installed the current beta (as of 1/2/2013). I don't know what happened with the install, supposedly you can use it along side the current version. There were NO shortcuts installed and no "uninstall" option. I am using Windows Vista Ultimate 32 bit. I ended up clicking on the setup.exe in order to start the game. When the game started I was totally lost. I immediately realized that this new beta version was NOT as intuitive as the previous versions. I'm not crazy about a version that needs a manual in order to play it.
Bottom line...I am looking forward to this new version even LESS than I was to the changeover from Version 2 to the current version. I did find out how to uninstall the beta version and it is gone from my hard drive. I know a lot of people say they didn't like it, but I sure wish they would go back to the "tables" that were in Version. 2 or 2.5. I liked seeing all the avatars and it was a lot easier to join a game with the tables. All they really needed was to have a faster update of when the games were joined.

From Duels to MTGO. I did ALOT of research on Mtgo before committing to it, so I was familiar with the interface. Being a paper magic player for over 10 years I already have the knowledge of 90% of the card base Mtgo offers. But going from Duels to MTGO for me was easy. I picked up quick on how things worked with it. Blew threw a 25$ gift card worth of Tix to make a few decks to compete with but didn't even realize I ran out of Tix before I could compete in tournys or drafts. I have the Decks but not the event tickets, Oh well. But anyway I love what Mtgo offers, Still trying to figure out the trading and stuff. tried out the Beta after I got use to the current version and I was back at square 1. I fiddled around with it for a while, figured out the changed layout and location of certain things, then went back to V3. BUT, duels will be played whenever i'm home in my rocking chair rocking my daughter to sleep, and once she is in her crib, MTGO will take over for the rest of the night. now just need to figure out ways to obtain tickets without spending money, and I've already traded away my unused rares, uncommons, and commons for tix. lol. but my decks are ready to go!

Unfortunately, VCLs do not currently have the tools necessary to take moderation actions directly. VCLs submit their actions to ORCs, who then actually perform the action. This processing can take between a few minutes and several hours, depending on how busy/attentive the ORCs are. If you see something that needs VCL attention, please use this thread (MTGO) or this thread (paper) to make a request and a VCL will look at it as soon as possible.
