I am a 40 year old physician who likes to play bridge. No one my age seems to play bridge so I don't get to play as often as I would like. My oldest son, age 7, has become very interested in Pokemon, so I have been spending time in the card aisle at toy stores. I became interested in Magic seeing it there next to Pokemon, and bought a few cards. The idea seemed interesting, so I set aside my Sunday afternoon to learn about the game. I logged on to Magic online and paid $9.99 to set up an account. I then bought about $150 worth of bosster packs just to see how things worked and what the site was like. My credit card was charged, I opened the packs, and then I was then booted off the site. I phoned, emailed, and chatted but got no help. I waited on the phone for ~30 minutes - all the while being told that I was "number 2" in the queue. Then it allowed me to leave a call back number which I did. No call back. Six hour later I went to bed, out $160, with no understanding of your game, unable to receive any help, and frustrated as hell. Now I'm back in the hospital at work. What an awful experience.
