My friends and I have played the following format ever since we got into magic years and years back, and I would love to see it become implemented into Magic Online.
Format Rules: Each player must have exactly sixty cards in his or her deck. Each player may have no more than two rare/Mystic cards in his or her deck. Each player may have no more than thirteen uncommons in his or her deck.
Why those rules?
There are a few reasons.
Initially we implemented that rule because we had several players who just wanted to be able to pick up a theme deck from the store and play it. They didn't want to get into deck building or boosters or the like.
It then became status quo; I loved the decision making and strategy involved in carefully crafting my deck and choosing which of my rares/uncommons to include. Trimming out the fat from my deck, keeping it at a lean 60 cards, and balancing it out to our "theme deck" based restricitons became an important part of playing magic for me.
As we played this way, we found Magic was a lot more interesting for us; as I'm sure anyone can agree, a game of magic can get out of hand quite easily when the decks on both sides are packed full of rares and increasingly over the top combinations.
I figure it could be called something similar to Pauper; Prince or Knight Format perhaps? Theme Format?
Does anyone else play this way?

Never heard of it, but I do like the idea. A lot. I might give it a try with my friends (we have more than enough paper cards to do so).
