try the stuff in the FAQ for troubleshooting. first step would be to make sure that you are running mtgo with admin priveledges, right click on the icon and go into properties. you may also have a run as admin option of the initial right click.

Some information on how it is not working would be helpful too. Does nothing happen when you double-click? Does the client crash when it tries to start? Does it crash on login?

Unfortunately, VCLs do not currently have the tools necessary to take moderation actions directly. VCLs submit their actions to ORCs, who then actually perform the action. This processing can take between a few minutes and several hours, depending on how busy/attentive the ORCs are.


If you see something that needs VCL attention, please use this thread (MTGO) or this thread (paper) to make a request and a VCL will look at it as soon as possible.  CoC violations should be reported to Customer Service using the "report post" button. Please do not disrupt the thread by making requests of either kind in-thread.

Dual means two. A duel is a battle between two people. Lands that make two colors of mana are dual lands. A normal Magic battle is a duel.

i see the lauch and repair button then i click launch and the client close with vista looking to solve the problem

I'm actually having the exact same issue with my mtgo and I'm using windows 7, however this didn't occur until I installed a new version of internet explorer, I think it was IE9, but I could be wrong. Anyways mine crashes after i click on launch and it loads everything, mtgo closes and an error message pops up stating that there is a problem running the program and windows has closed it and will notify me of any solutions (which it never did) and i have the .net framework 4 as well

UPDATE: I'm not entirely sure why but after waiting 1 day I'm able to get on MTGO now without it crashing.
