The results are here.I'll keep hosting for the next week too.Next week's event will be the very special VANTAR TRIBUTE, to celebrate our fearless tech wiz Matthew "Vantar" Taber (responsible, among other things, for the new registration system) on the occasion of his MARRIAGE!For the event, only the VANTAR TRIBES are allowed. That is, all the tribes Vantar ever played in Tribal Apocalypse (with a couple of exceptions). Here's the full list:

The regular Tribal Apocalypse Additional Banned List, the Tribal Achievements and the Hamtastic Award run still apply. The highest-ranked tribe with fewer members will get the Endangered Prize. The highest-ranked tribe that was played less will get the Virgin Prize. The Up-and-Coming-Prize will not be assigned. The Topical Prize is replaced by the ANIMAL PLANET PRIZE to the highest-ranked tribe that's a real life animal (and no, gargoyles are just real life inanimate objects). Vantar himself will be both allowed and forced to play a tribe of his choice that's NOT in the list.

I hosted Tribal Apocalypse 2.37 (Week 89) on 9/15/12. The results are here.Blippy's coming back this week!This week (September 22)'s event will be a special event: Rites of Autumn: FATTIE WEEK! Only creatures (tribal member or otherwise) with BODY 12 OR MORE are allowed in the deck, "body" being the total sum of power and toughness (so, a 6/6 is fine, a 8/4 is fine, a 7/4 isn't). Note that this is slightly different from what previously announced, to allow for creatures like Silvos, Rogue Elemental  to join the party. Note that you can't have smaller creatures AT ALL, even outside the tribal base (so, no Elvish Piper  , or Birds of Paradise  , or Wall of Roots  ).Creatures with variable body (for instance, with * as power and/or toughness, or because their body sizes are situational) aren't allowed. Creatures that enter the battlefield with enough natural +1/+1 counters to fulfill the requirement are allowed (e.g. Phantom Nishoba  and Cytospawn Shambler  are, creatures with Devour aren't, unless they have body 12 or more from the start).The following cards are banned (more might be added):

It is with great joy, and heavy heart, that I announce to you my retirement from hosting Tribal Apocalypse. It's been a wild year and three quarters, but it's time for some new blood; I find myself growing complacent and stale. The event will be taken over by_Kumagoro_ and vantar6697, both of whom have great love for the format, and have shown great sticktuitiveness. I'll still be by to play from time to time, of course..
