This week's Heirloom finals came down to Owain's Jund vs. Aset91's Sacrifice Everything with aset91 coming out on top! I had finished first after the swiss phase but I dropped myself as I am not eligible for any prizes. The fourth place player, DarkestNight, did not stick around to hear that he had advanced so Owain won his top 4 match by default.

Okay this is kind of sudden but I have decided to no longer participate in the game of Magic: the Gathering. If people would like me to host this Sunday's event, I can. But I won't be playing and I won't be giving out foils/tix like I normally do. I hope you all have enjoyed having me as a host as much as I've enjoyed hosting the events. Unfortunately, the frustration is outweighing the enjoyment and it's time for me to do something else with my time.

If I do run it, it will be my last event. If not, I can show someone else how to host the event as it is not very difficult.

I am willing to take a shot at taking over hosting this event. I would need to have MTGOTraders informed of this change so they could get me the information on who gets the credits and would also need them to start sending the legality lists to me. I will be on later this afternoon if you want to message me about this.

So I took a peek at some innistrad cards that will be Heirloom legal... besides Rolling Temblor, Feeling of Dread, Lost in the Mist and Silent Departure, I'm not really seeing any cards coming out that will have a big impact in Heirloom.

I am sorry everyone but I will not be able to run the tournament tomorrow. I have sent Karazorel a message asking to host one last time tomorrow if possible. I had a family emergency come up and will be unavailable tomorrow. I appolgise for this and I will start hosting next weekend.

I hosted this week's event and played my green trampler deck again. It's gone 5-1 in two swiss events so far. I placed 3rd. Last week, I was 1st before the playoffs which I chose not to play. Also, this was the last event I will be hosting as I am selling my magic collection. I took over from Naproxen back in June, which I understood wasn't to be permanent but I haven't seen Naproxen back since then. ChrisMH77 will be in charge next week. Thank you to everyone who participated in my events!
