Ok so in the last 2 days I have gotten 4 e-mails so far saying I bought stolen product from a player.  Now I'm starting to worry my account is going to get deactivated.  This is insane.  Can WOTC please add the "account created" date to a players information so that we can use that as a tool when deciding to buy from someone?

Agreed 100% there has been a recent surge in shady ticket sellers.

WOTC has been investigating a lot of accounts recently... they basically banned all of Uruguay (myself included) recently (it's my country and sadly a hotbed of scammers).

There's also the alert posted at the top about the phishing scam.

So your saying if someone wants market prices for tickets then its nothing to worry about? Thats a pretty ludicrous response when heath buys several thousand tickets a week.

Well.. if you are paying market price for them they are never going to be able to deactivate your account.   You are certainly not at fault if theres no way for you to know.

This will not happen for the same reasons ratings were taken away.

The minute you make that information public, you open new players to the flood of "You just openend that account.  Therefore you're a noob.  Therefore you suck" line of harassment.

You could ask for a screenshot of the date created that's sent out in the newsletter

Then you just have to worry about the rest of the world
I heard we're supposed to post in green if we don't like the new forums.

It doesn't quite work that way.

Wilm posts ads saying that he's buying tickets at $X.  He has no way to tell if the people responding to his ad are legit or scammers.  I'm pretty sure he's smart enough to avoid the "too good to be true" offers.

You could stop buying tickets on the secondary market and avoid the risk.
