The Classic Quarter Website has an interview with Erik Lauer that you should read. Not sure if I can quote him here but he confirmed that MED4 will contain additional Legacy Banned Cards.
I am pretty sure someone at the Community Cup asked whether MED4 will have Mythics and I believe the answer was "____"
I also remember reading a statement that Legacy should be basically complete (save Urza's Destiny and Masques Block) when MED4 comes out.
I collect Zendikar Foil Basic lands. Trade me yours! Things that I want to see changed on MTGO: 1: 64 man drafts added to rotation of Events. 2: Friday night Classic/Better event times for Classic. 3: Visual/Audible Notification of disconnect, deckbuild/afk time expiring and round starts. 4: Prize Payouts as close to draft sets as possible. 5: Rotate Classic draft queues monthly! 6: MOCS level events for Classic/Pauper 7: Power 9! 8: Award Promo Cards for Constructed PEs (esp for Legacy/Classic) 9: Program Split option back in! 10: Set Favorite version in deck editor (i.e. always use x swamp) 11: Better sorting of gold cards in deck editor. 12: Bring leagues Back!

yep I edited my post... I did remember someone saying that a Wotc had mentioned Mythics in MED4 in the chat channel... so I guess it is still rumor.

So since there's nothing else new about ME4 yet, who wants to speculate on how it will be drafted with the first 3? I'm hoping for a rotating schedule where we get ME123 Nix Tix, then ME234. Should that be it or should they mix it up with some ME124 and ME134? Or should it we just keep ME123 how it is and only draft ME444 by itself?

Personally, I never want to draft either MED1 or MED2 ever again. They are both terrible - the first isn't really draftable at all (it was meant to be drafted with 10E), and the second is stunningly unimpressive in terms of card selection.
At any rate, I expect MED4 will be all about artifacts - antiquities is by far the most underrepresented expansion - and *know* this was kinda tried with the MED1/10E thing, but it might be fun to try it with Scars of Mirrodin, since it's super-likely they will have inerlocking themes.

I guess you haven't been drafting in the ME123 Nix Tix. They are awesome! It is a cool twist having the very limited set first and the more robust set last (being the opposit of the big/smal/small norm). It actually plays really well and I would draft ME123 all the time if ii was available. I don't find weak cards make a bad draft environment, just means everyone has a weaker pool.
I totally agree on ME4 being artifact focused but I doubt anyone would play SoM/SoM/ME4 if given the choice of ME444, same as everyone chose ME111 over 10E/10E/ME1. You want to have the best chance at opening a Black Lotus as you can get .

It is different. I really enjoyed ME2 as a very control friendly draft environment, but it is generally accepted to be bad, as was ME1. However, when you put all 3 together it is surprisingly good. There is room for control and tempo drafts and it is actually the ME3 pack that throws things off a bit as the Horses are a little bit to powerful.
One of the funnest thing about it for me is because ME1 and 2 are so weak you can actually wait until the 3rd pack to settle on your secondary color and still get a playable deck because most of it will come from ME3 anyway.
