Could be fun. I'd love a more casual atmosphere and they're nice and cheap. My only issue is the timing of these events. Being on the East Coast, one starts at 5 PM when most people are just leaving work and the next one doesn't start until 10 PM, which is likely too late for most people to play in a 3 hour tournament and wake up when they need to for work the next day. I'd like to play in one of these, I just don't think it'd be possible unless I have a day off from work.

Yeah, the prize/cost ratio seems awesome for the casual player.  I can see myself playing at least 1 event every week which is sweet!  And 4 pack sealeds!

I think I'd like to play this but Spree is right about the timing. East coast US is getting shafted here.

I'll echo the sentiment that I'd play in these pretty frequently except that the timing couldn't be worse for the east coast.  I realize it's a global game, but surely east coast is a significant market...which apparently wasn't even considered.  5pm is too early, 10pm is too late.

Yeah, prizes are nice.  With only 3 events per week these will all fill up to the max 128 players.  So I would find it highly likely that a week or two into the program they add more slots at different times.

Edit:  Ok, not sure on the number of events as it's unclear if there will be more added at each time.

Is there just going to be 4 drafts, one at each of the scheduled times, or will they be running them continuously?

Also are the drafts 8-player? It says minimum 16 players to 128 for all events. I guess 16 would work, just fire 2 tables, but I haven't seen them do that before within one event.

That's what I read as well.  Talk about killing normal drafting on Thursday nights - hahahaha.
