Good Things About MTGO

Got kind of down about all the threads always complaining about something or other.  Felt like making a thread where we can discuss the good things on MTGO.

1. I love being able to get a game nearly 24/7(leaving out the slight weekly downtime)
2. I like only needing 4 of a card but using it in every deck i play
3. I like the services bots provide by being able to buy singles 24/7
4. I enjoy the community of friends I have formed online
5. I like the large variety of formats
6. I enjoy the card pool and the speed with which previous sets are released
7. Thanks to the ORC's and VCL's for doing what they are supposed to do and putting up with others yelling at them to take care of everything
8. I enjoy not shuffling my deck
9. Hopefully I'll enjoy others joining in

We all know its not perfect, but obviously it's good enough if we all keep playing, so what about you?
I like fun, but competitive decks.  So I might not play what is optimal but they have normally been tested to have a 2/3 winrate.

Someone made this thread a month or 2 ago, just merge it with that one.

I can think of lots of things I like about mtgo, but the problem is almost all those things were better prior to v3, so when I think how much I like drafting, the first thing that pops into my head is "But it was better when there was a table so you could see who was passing to who, and pairing wasn't random".

So really the only thing I like about v3 is the server stability, and as you said being able to play any time.

In regards to number 2 on your list, I liked that when it was true
I heard we're supposed to post in green if we don't like the new forums.

I like that the Magic Online community is respectful enough to not immediately jump on a thread like this with negativity. I like that, with very few exceptions, Magic Online players are helpful, polite, and generally the type of people I'd like to game with. I like that we're now doing live events so I have the opportunity to meet and chat with some of you.

I really like not having to manually manage an inventory. I don't have to put away or store cards. I can have an accurate spreadsheet of my collection any time I want it and I don't have to worry about errors. I can write my own tools to analyze my collection.

When drafting, I like to be able to look at my collection to see which of those last few card are missing from my collection. Or, being able to make my first pick (thanks for the control-click!), run to the kitchen and get some snacks, and be back in time for my second pick.

Relief is never having to worry if my opponent has sufficiently shuffled their deck or forgetting my own triggered abilities. You have to go out of your way to get a "warning" in Magic Online.

I like that I was able to use MTGO as a tool to re-learn to play Magic, with the game playing the role of rules lawyer, not another player with an agenda.

If not for MTGO, I probably would have played my last game of Magic in 1995.

4. The effects are amazing. the cards look awesome, the foils shimmer and the game play is pretty sweet.

4. ive gotten too know many people playing online, the people in the clan im in and people in other clans and even the ones that are not, gotten too know some very cool peeps, and a few creeps also, lol

5. I can play mtgo anytime i want too in my free time and there is always a game too be had,
